“Handy Location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

This hotel is in a good location for walking to the falls etc, the hotel is clean and the rooms are large. We were lucky to park at the hotel as the parking lot was quite full. Breakfast was ok if you are a kid, but for an adult it was very disappoointing having to eat off disposable plates with plastic cutlery. Niagara Falls is a very busy place so I expected better value for money. I would not recommend staying here if you are a couple travelling without children.

My parents stayed here recently. My dad had to go to hospital and the staff helped them to get there, gave me a room key to wait, organised contingency plans, and even gave dad a get well soon card. They were amazingly helpful. Coffee and cookies in lobby were super and rooms spacious and comfortable

Very nice stay. We were there for 3 days. Great service and breakfast was very good. They sometimes get bus groups coming in and the breakfast area can fill up quickly but many groups leave early as well. Parking for the hotel is $8 a day but in this congested tourist area it is par for the course. Walking distance to the falls. For people having walking problems go into the Casino (across the street just right of the Perkins) cut through the Casino (no charge or problems but must be 19 or older) take the escalator down TWO times and then exit the Casino. Go to the right side of the building and there is an elevator that you take down one more flight. Cross the street and a few stairs and you are on the falls road. Going back take the elevator to the FIRST floor and then enter the Casino and go up the escalators etc. If you try going past the first floor on the elevator you will need to get Casino security to come down to escort you. This saves walking down a long sloping road if walking is difficult. I read part of this in an earlier review and just added extra info. Really helped!!

The reason we stay there was all the good reviews we had seen on tripadvisor.
Room was very big plus clean.Car parking was good. Not like some hotels in Niagara Falls.
Which charge upto $20 a night .Breakfast was ok can get busy.Shame there is no bar in the hotel. But there are loads of places near by.
We would stay there again.

The check-in staff were friendly. Our room had two queen beds. Unfortunately there was no fridge and no safe. The breakfast was great. Freshly baked cookies were available for free at the reception desk. Everything is in easy walking distance - the falls, pubs, restaurants, shopping.

Found this hotel using the reviews here and it was definitely worth it. The people were great and the rooms were clean. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the falls. Definitely recommended. They have complimentary breakfast which is served from 7:00am to 10:30am. They also have free parking, a pool, fitness center, business center, and game room. We reserved the suits which had two queen size beds and a living room area. The living room had two couches and a table. There were 2 televisions, one in the living room and on in the bedroom. There was no outside noise at all. There seemed to be a lot of old people but it may be the time of year we went there.

The building overall was clean and nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not like the fact that there were rowdy people in the parking lot smoking marijuana and drinking and cursing in front of me and my children at only 8:00 at night. There were rowdy people at all hours of the day and night in the parking lot. The room was nice, but the sofa bed was right next to the door and people talking loud in the hallway kept my kids up most of the night and then early in the morning. It is close to the Clifton Hill attractions, but has absolutely no decent views. For the $170 this room cost....it was not worth it. $99 is the most I would ever pay to stay here again. Spent $60 more the following night to stay at Marriott Niagra Falls View & Spa....Now that was worth the extra money! That place is amazing!

Room Tip: Stay away from the stairs to cut back on the noise
