I enjoyed our stay here a lot - free parking, wifi, and pretty good free continental breakfast in the morning (you get to a make a few choices the night before and it's delivered to your room at the time you select). Rooms are spacious and a real treat in an old building that has recently been renovated to keep its charm. It was quiet and the bathroom was huge and well appointed. Walking distance to the Falls, Clifton Hill, and all kinds of restaurants.
I'm not a picky traveler and I don't like to complain, but with this inn, I do have one complaint- that the check in and reservation staff weren't overly friendly. They weren't in your face rude, either, but when I called to reserve and explain we were staying for my husband's 40th birthday, the agent snapped 'we don't do anything special for birthdays.' I didn't ask them to, but it wouldn't have hurt for them to personalize our stay even by recognizing this when we checked in some how. They did let us store our luggage for a few hours before our room was ready, but this wasn't a place where people were outwardly ready to go above and beyond customer service-wise. This is the only reason I'm giving this hotel a 4/5 rating.More
