“Over all not bad!”

The rooms were great! They were nice and clean! But we didn't appreciate the attitude given to us at the check in counter! Not very nice!

Right when we got to the counter instead of first listening to what we had to say... The guy just kept ranting on about knowing who has booked and what not... And it turned out he didn't know what he was talking about... He mixed us up with another family(which is what we were trying to tell him the whole time!) and then in the middle of all this, he left us and told a girl to take over... And again instead of listening to us she started talking to he co worker... Oh well... The hotel was nice!

I was on a cycling trip from Hamilton and we got to Niagara Falls by noon. Our luggage had been delivered by our support van but our room wasn't ready yet. They put a rush on things and we were in our room by 1:00 pm. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved the restaurants almost next door to the hotel. Went to Vinnie's in the evening and the Pancake Buffet in the morning. Vinnie's had the best entertainment I have heard in a long time. We were able to sit on our deck and watch the fireworks. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel room is rather dated, but clean and comfortable. Parking is available for $20 a night, but there are lots across the street that are less expensive (if you don't mind a little walk). We parked onsite and the staff let us stay beyond the prescribed checkout time; very nice. This was a great location for those who are just needing a place to sleep with no special luxuries needed. We walked to the Falls with no problem, even with a five year old with us.

We just checked out of this hotel from a 2 day stay. We visit the falls often but have always stayed at the Marriott. However this was a last minute trip and this hotel was available and the price was better than at the Marriott for this time of the season. First of all we did arrive around 1:00pm and was very surprised that our room was ready and the front desk clerk upon arrival was very friendly and pleaseant, so this is a plus. We were told that we were in building 2 on the 1st floor near the outside pool, which was a little disapointing because we had booked a room with a balcony, stting area with a couch and chair. I didnt complain because I figured that since we checked in early this is what was available. Upon entering the room seemed to be clean and looked ok. We had openend the drapes and went to sit down at the desk the chair was disguiusting and so was the room chair. Terrible filthy looked like urine and god knows what other stains were on these chairs. However I do not fault the housekeeping staff! The managment or hotel owner should invest in some profesional cleaning of these items. Needless to say we only sat on the bed. the hallways had no airconditioning so they were pretty hot for the short time to be in the hall that was ok. The in room coffe pot did not work either. Actually there was still water in it from the last people, so my husband went over to the main building and explained that the coffe pot didnt work and was told he could go to the breakfast area and get a cup.Well there were about 20 people waiting just to go in for breakfast so he came back to the room and went back about time breakfast was about over and went in and asked for a cup of coffee explaining again that our room pot didnt work, a very nasty rude lady refused him a cup of coffee another worker had heard this and did get him a cup. So needless to say the next morning we had just walked to tim hortons. Upon check out the front desk staff was not very pleasent at all different staff then when checking in. I am sure I will never stay here again I will just pay the higher cost and have no complaints. I would also like to mention that the cleaning room staff were very friendly and did do a nice job with there houskeeping for what they have to work with.

My name is Adeline and my husband and I just checked out of the Comfort Inn last Sunday (11 August 2013)

We have enjoyed our stay with your hotel with knowledge that Comfort Inn is not the best hotel amongst the hotels that is by the Falls, however upon check out we were surprised at getting charged twice on our bill for parking. We carpooled with another couple to come up to the Falls and therefore only had one car between the 4 of us.

So I called the hotel after check out and told the person on the line we were charged extra for the parking and the person transferred me to Puneet, your supervisor, I assume. We told him the situation and our room number he vehemently insisted that we told him that we had 2 cars registered. We told him that we only had one car registered and he kept asking us if we are sure if we only had one car registered. We told him that we had no reason to lie. He basically accused us of lying! He was even raising his voice as I was raising mine. I was trained in the hospitality industry and I was sure you are not suppose to raise your voice when the customer is already agitated with the situation.

We were met with such resistance and to tell us that he will investigate and find out who is the person who registered another car to our room then getting back to us to decide if we were actually overcharged is ridiculous and does not hold your hotel in the high standards of hospitality.

To add insult to injury, when I asked for the General Manager's email address so to expedite this situation, he told me that he will not get back to us as we would have already sent an email to the General Manager and as the General Manager you would follow up with us. That in itself is not a makings of a good supervisor or manager. Any other hotel with excellent standings would have given us the money back no questions asked.

It has been 3 days now since the call and I have yet recieved a call or an email that this will be looked into or an apology. This is not acceptable.

having to pay for parking at the hotel we stayed at-unbelievable. asking questions as to where certain touristy things are-staff didn't know. ask where a certain street is-staff said they only work there they don't live there. really? I think the staff needs to be trained as to the touristy things. hallways were not air conditioned-it was in the 90"s, melting. only 2 ice machines for the whole hotel-which is quite large.both machines weren't working. what's up with that? called front desk for ice because we had leftovers from dinner, and yes, we wanted cold drinks. half an hour later someone came with a plastic bag that contained about 10 cubes in it. breakfast. oh yes, breakfast was a joke. there's a very small room that can hold maybe 50-60 guests. we had to stand in line to get seated every single day. nothing like wasting time when there is so much to see and do outside. after being seated trying to get to the food was crazy. a small little aisle was in front of everything. people bumping into each other while trying to fill their plates. stood in the hall waiting for a table and the hostess tried to put us right by the cart where people put dirty dishes. like I want someone to slop food on my back. then, after being seated, they try to put other people at your table. when we were almost done, one of the women from the kitchen came to clean our table. she said there were people waiting to eat and tried to shoo us out! that was the last straw. I told her we weren't done yet. she said we already ate. I said I was still hungry and am not done. bad, bad experience.

Room Tip: we were on the 6th floor. room was fine.

Well located Hotel, but, if you have a room on the first (actually the basement) you will be confronted to the washing machines, and a line up of people trying to grab a piece of breakfast, which we never took.

Parking is extra and if you come in late at night, there is no more space, you have to park at the restaurant next door.
