The location of this hotel isn't too bad, it is fairly close to the falls, casinos and Clifton Hill district (if you don't mind a few blocks of walking). The lobby is nice and most of the staff is helpful and pleasant, the manager was pretty rude when I was trying to get clarification on one of the charges. The room was dated and the television was probably 10+ years beyond needing replaced. The bathroom upon arrival was not cleaned very well (urine dried on the seat along with hair) luckily I travel with disinfectant! Overall I would say if you want to go on a budget but still be close to thing this hotel or one of the chains in this general vicinity would be a okay choice.

Room Tip: If possible get a room in the main section (floor 3 or higher) not the back end (these rooms are dat...

We wanted to stay near the Fallsview casino area so, this Comfort Inn was our best choice. They offer attractive stay packages however, we opted just for the room and made our own food arrangements. The hotel does offer a very good hot continental breakfast however, there can be lie-ups and table sharing. I expect this may be worse in the busy season. We ate in one day and out the next, just for a change. Before I forget, Room # 803 is about the only room that has a view down the river and you can see the mist of the falls. Even thought the hotel has only 8 floors, it stands on its own and is not at all overshadowed by the nearby skyscraper hotels. The room was neat & clean but no fridge or microwave. That's usually the standard in a high tourist area. The rate is very, very economical considering you are only a 5min walk to the Casino, eating eastablishments and to an outlook over the falls. Parking is $ 12 a night as compared to $20 to $25.

Room Tip: Try and get room #803 for the best view towards the falls. I didn't see the "Jacuzzi"...

We stayed for one night this week. It was a weeknight and the hotel was not full. However when we went to have breakfast at 8 am, the line was going out the door and all the way down the hall past people's rooms. No way were we going to line up for close to an hour to get breakfast, so we just left and went out to eat. So much for the free breakfast. No wonder they give you a coupon for a breakfast buffet place nearby, when you check in! I've talked to other friends who have stayed at this place and they too were always unable to get breakfast, so this appears to be a major problem. Too bad, cause the hotel was decent. For a weekday, the room rate was attractive. The location was close to the casino. We could pay 5 dollars and park there rather than pay the 12 dollars that the hotel wanted for parking. Our room was a bit cramped with two double beds. But it was clean and very comfortable. No fridge though, which we really appreciate having when we travel. We liked having the small table in the room. It would have been handy had the hotel been designed so that you could take out your breakfast and eat it in your room. There was an indoor pool and hot tub, but we did not have time to use them on this trip. For the price, we would consider staying here again. But we certainly wouldn't count on having a breakfast. Management needs to look into this problem. Or else cut the rates and stop advertising a free breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the elevators. There were constantly people talking while they waited for t...

The room and service was basic, good and clean but the real surprise was the breakfast buffet; it was included in the price and had lots of variety; toast, eggs, sausages, waffles, muffins, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee in a clean, well-orgainsed space.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (sept.4-6/12) and was pleased with the room that had a smhrhall balcony. The complimentary breakfast was very good , served between 6am-9am. I suggest you arrive early as it fills up fast . the new WEGO bus line stops directly across the street from the hotel and for $11.30 (adult) you can get a 48hr pass from the front desk. The bus stops at all the attractions. Of course there are alot of things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel. The nightly rate was exceptionally lower than the neighbouring hotels. I will definetly be a return customer.

This hotel had several very good points. First, its proximity to the falls and ease of reaching the main viewing area. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and fairly new. The bathroom was very good as well. You pay to park but I understand other hotels may charge more per day. They have an indoor pool but I did not have time to use it. On the bad side is the breakfast. Most of the hotels of this quality offer breakfast. You expect the money saved from breakfast to help offset the cost of the night. Well, this place was immensely too small. There were signs on the wall limiting the number of people inside. You had to wait in the hallway until space was available. Long wait. Also had signs that you could not take anything out of the room. Fortunately they did not enforce that and let me get a cup of coffee to go and others were taking styrofoam trays out. After one day, we (my husband, another couple, and myself) found another local restaurant for breakfast- The Flying Saucer on Lundy Lane. Great food, and reasonable price. Much better. But - not what I had planned money-wise or time-wise. When I mentioned the breakfast problem to the staff at the desk I got a very poor response. Pretty much "oh well." There are small balconies for each room. They give you a glimpse of that part of the city but not the falls. Too many buildings and vegetation. So, the important things were good - room, bed, bath but I expect more from a
Comfort Inn breakfast and general customer service.

My family and I took a weekend trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, We enjoy gambling at the Fallsview Casino and the restaurants and nightlife that surround the Fallsview area. That being said, hotels around this area tend to be high for our budget. This hotel offers an economic rate and is within walking distance to all the area attractions. The front desk associates are accomodating and friendly. The support staff that we encountered were the same way. I will say this: You get what you pay for. The rooms are small and you are given the basic essentials that you need. It was very hot on the day we stayed and I felt that the AC unit in ther room could of worked a little better to be honest! The continental breakfast was typical in comparison to others and is located in a very small room so get there early so you don't have to wait too long to eat. If you are looking for an economic hotel in the Fallsview area this should be on your list.
