The loudest and best place for kids who love the water! We go every year and one or more of our friends and their family tag along. This is so much fun - even if you have babies. We have gone every year since our small one was 2 (6 now). Hotel is starting to wear out and it's a bit pricey but worth the fun factor for the kids. We only stay over 1 night now and use the water park the whole second day. The staff is friendly but young. My only wish would be - better security at the entrance to the water park so kids couldn't just get out. Eat at the restaurant - its worth the money - good variety even for picky eaters.
Warning if your over 25 - your ears will be ringing for several hours after you leave - but the kids wont seem that loud anymore :)

Room Tip: Wait for a sale - never pay full price.

The Great Wolf Lodge truely is fun for the whole family!

Tips-
Bring Flip Flops for inside the Lodge

Food can get expensive so bring as much with you as you can, there are microwaves and fridges in the rooms, A crock pot meal is a good idea too!

There are things for toddlers to do, but it gets a bit repetative, 2 days in the waterpark is plenty for that age, but there is lots to do outside of the hotel. The ideal age for the waterpark would be about 7-12!

Kids love story time, but get there EARLY as the entire Lobby fills up quickly!

Room Tip: The waterpark level is BEST!

If I could give it 3 1/2 that's what I'd give. Great waterpark but the hotel is starting to feel humid and the hotel rooms aren't as clean as it used to be. It's still a great place for families and not a knock on the overall experience but the hotel rooms need some renovations.

Honestly not sure what they can do about the humidity but you can feel it.

Highly recommend this place there is something to do for everyone!
We had my son's 12th birthday party here and didn't see him or his cousins all day while the parents enjoyed conversation and some drinks.
The arcade was great for the kids after dinner and the rides were fun for the parents first thing in the morning before the crowds.
Even a spa for the moms!
You're able to bring your own food if you don't feel they serve the healthiest options/and or have allergy worries.

My Husband, son (9), and I stayed for two nights over Easter weekend. I want to start by saying that I read the reviews and was very nervous about the stay and had even considered changing our plans and staying at a hotel by the Fallsview waterpark instead. I am very glad that we didn't. The stay was really good. They run the place very professionally.
It was crowded, of course, especially since it was a holiday weekend. But the crowds at the waterpark were very manageable.
We had only short waits at the breakfast and dinner buffet, which was quite a surprise.
The staff were very friendly and helpful (sans a couple of cranky ladies at the foodstand inside the waterpark area.)
I would recommend this hotel for a family getaway.

This was our third trip in as many years and this had to have been one of the best times. It was not very busy so the older kids didnt have to wait at all for the slides and the littlest one was tall enough for the kiddie slides this year. The staff was awesome as usual everyone was always very friendly and outgoing. I would especially like to give props to the life guard Oren who helped our little one on the slides she talked about him for hours because he took his time with her and got down to her 3 year old level. Even when he saw her later in a different area of the water park he would stop to chat with her and give her high fives. The room was awesome lots of space for teenagers and adults (we had the loft room) and the extra little bathroom sure comes in handy when one of your teenagers is a 14 year old girl lol. All in all this was a great family vacation with the only problem being the price of food but for the most part we just brought our own for breakfast and lunches/snacks.

We took our grandson for a one night/day. The water-park is fun, clean and our grandson had lots of fun as we did seeing him enjoy himself.

Hotel wise, this is an extremely overpriced hotel. There was no sheets in the bunk-beds. We stayed in the Wolf den suite and the 'sheets', both top and bottom of both bunk beds were hospital type blankets. No sheets at all.
At $329.00 plus taxes a night, I think this was ridiculous.

I do understand this resort is geared for children. But my children at home sleep in a bed with sheets, i would expect the same at a hotel.

Also, TV's are pre-programmed to hit the pay movies, games first and foremost. You have t navigate through several screens to get to the TV shows. Something I thought was a little self serving.

Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water-park for kids and an overpriced 2-3 star hotel.
