My husband and I are quite picky about hotel rooms, so to earn five stars, a place has to be absolutely spectacular, and Park Place does not disappoint! The owners Carolyn and Gary have put so much love into this home, which they have owned for 36 years. We stayed in the Queen Anne Suite, which has an amazing bathroom and a comfy king size bed. The B&B is very close to the action in Niagara Falls without being too close to the noise, lights, and camp of the tourist zone. It's also very close to downtown Niagara, which has some fine places to dine away from the crowds.

We appreciated being able to come back to the B&B and relax on the porch with a bottle of wine before ascending to our second floor room for a bath and a restful sleep. We had the option to have our delicious breakfast served in our suite, which was great, because it gave us time to continue enjoying the room.

If you are looking for a romantic, quiet, yet well-located room in Niagara, look no further. We will be back!

Room Tip: The Queen Anne Suite is cozy, but if you're staying for several days, consider the Prince of Wal...

My wife and i stayed here from August 16-18 and had the carriage house. The curb appeal is stunning. Truly, the pictures don't do it justice. The gardens surrounding the house are gorgeous. Flowers, fruit trees and classic character that only a century house could provide. The amazing couple that runs the business just put their heart and soul into everything. From the muffins to the numerous recommendations on places to eat, it doesn't get any better. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and prepared with a loving touch.
The bed was super comfy and the actual carriage house was quaint and homey. The location was just far enough from the insanity of the summer travel season but close enough to the casino and downtown shopping.
We will absolutely stay here again however, we will likely come during the off-season due to how busy the falls are during is time.

With Park Place having received so many glowing reviews -- all of which were borne out by our recent experience, a three-night stay in the Prince of Wales suite -- we wonder what we might possibly add. Perhaps just a few personal examples to underline what others have already said.

Such as the way hostess Carolyn personally drove us to a restaurant that we would have had trouble getting to on our own (and even though she and Gary had a dinner guest that evening who had already arrived). Or the way host Gary advised on exactly where we could successfully find parking on our day trip to Niagara on the Lake. Or the delightful companionship and conversation that Carolyn provided each morning at our breakfasts in the dining room. Or the repeated evidence that when Carolyn or Gary recommended a restaurant, it was because the place was not only reliable but was also one that locals such as themselves would patronize. Or, perhaps most important, the sincere enthusiasm of both Carolyn and Gary for their city and its surroundings, and their happiness in helping others enjoy a memorable stay there.

And oh yes, our room was charming and the breakfasts were delicious (including French toast, eggs, muffins, and healthy cereals), and the atmosphere could not have been more relaxing. In short, Park Place was a truly satisfying place to stay.

Thank you Carolyn & Gary for a wonderful few nights in your beautiful Bed and Breakfast. You were the most accommodating hosts, giving excellent advise on where to eat in the area and advise on places to see/visit - all most helpful and appreciated. Park Place Bed and Breakfast is very clean and you get a hearty cooked breakfast each morning. It is perfectly located in a picturesque spot along River Road and has quick and easy access not only to Niagara Falls but also Niagara on the Lake, numerous wineries and all the other wonderful places to visit in this area. You both made the stay very special for me and my parents from the UK and we all hope to return again. Vanessa Mason

You have a choice in Niagara Falls of staying in the very commercial and touristy downtown area of high rise hotels (and swarms of people) or the quiet, residential area of B&Bs. We chose Park Place because of its romantic, quaint atmosphere on the website and because we wanted to be a bit "away from it" to see the Falls at our speed. You can walk to the Rainbow Bridge and Maid of the Mist in 15 minutes or take a Wego Bus which stops 1 1/2 blocks away--good idea to just park the car and hoof it or take public transit in Niagara Falls.

We were very pleased with the warm welcome by Gary and Carolyn, the cozy Carriage House suite, and the great 5-course breakfasts which we took one day in the porte cochere and the second in our room. They gave us lots of good information on the sights and transportation and booked us in a restaurant where we got special service and a free dessert. We definitely recommend this for a relaxed stay in the area.

Amidst all the positive comments, the only drawback is that I prefer showers and the old fashioned claw tub with a handle shower was too small for anything but a sit bath. The Carriage House is on the second floor of a converted garage/stable at the back up a narrow staircase, so if mobility is an issue, this large, romantic setting may not be for you. The other two suites are in the house itself and I understand the Prince of Wales suite has a large whirlpool tub, a small shower and a dry sauna, which I might have preferred to the small clawfoot tub and handheld shower in the Carriage House. All rooms have sitting areas and flatscreen TVs.

The Park Place Bed and Breakfast is, hands down, the best bed and breakfast in which we have stayed. Gary and Carolyn are the most gracious and conscientious hosts imaginable and they made our stay quite memorable. This, coupled with a beautifully appointed home, outstanding service, attention to detail, and fantastic hospitality, make Park Place the perfect place to stay while visiting Niagara Falls and vicinity. The Queen Anne Suite was perfect, spacious, and peaceful. What a great way to spend our 18th anniversary! Thanks to Gary and Carolyn for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: We loved the Queen Anne Suite! We also got a glimpse of the other suite in the home and it looked g...
