“Not bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

I stayed here for a conference for work. The location is several miles from the tourist area which was not a big deal for me. The facilities were very good. The room was more than adequate. Service was very good as well. The restaurant and bar was not bad expecially the all-you-can-eat pasta on Sunday nights. I did not use the waterpark but it looked great for families with smaller kids. It is on the main drag and getting around was very easy. I might consider staying here again.

We had previously stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed it. This time was no different. We had a king size bed and a beautiful heart shaped jacuzzi right in our room. I would definitely stay there again.

Returned from 2 night stay at this hotel with my 3 boys. We have been to the other water parks in Niagara, and think this is a good value for your money. It is a little outdated and the water park is suited more for children under 10. The family suite was a good size, clean but noisy.
Not walking distance to Clifton Hill, fill your pockets with money because it costs to do everything.

The Water Park is AWESOME>>> it is worth the money you'll pay to get in.
Also Please Don't even bother with the Negative attitude like : not allowed to swim/ride in this park due to their rules of dress up !!! ... It is very awesome that the Park Cares about Health and Safety !!!!!

We will definitely going to go back.. .LOVED THE PLACE.

I brought my 4 and 6 year olds here for an evening at the water park and we had a great time.
Special from 5-9pm at 20$ per person instead of what other water parks charge. (35-45$) This place was perfect for younger children and not over crowded. It has 4 larger slides (2 of the four are with tubes), a wave pool, baby pool, toddler area with sprays and 2 smaller slides.
Staff was great, place was clean and slides were great for younger children. Many life guards on location. Safety does seam to be a priority. If you have younger children, I would definitely recommend this place for a visit. Try out the restaurant at the front called Jack Tanners. Great food and kids eat free! Unfortunately I did not stay at hotel so I cannot comment about the accommodations.

Just returned home yesterday! August 13/13. We had a wonderful time!! The staff were ALL friendly and very accomodating. From the reservation department to the front desk, cleaning staff, restaurant, to room service.
Even the people working around the buildings were all very nice.
We had the two bedroom, two bathroom suite. It was perfect. We being the grandparents stayed in one bedroom and our daughter, husband and two children (3 and 1) stayed in the larger area.
It had 4 beds, a livingroom area and a kitchen area. Very spacious.
The waterpark was perfect for all of us. It had areas for all of us to have fun in.
There are plenty of friendly and happy lifegaurds and the life jackets were great!
The big tube slide rides were great fun. The pool was nice and warm and not overcrowded. I wore a swimsuit with a swim dress over it......no one bothered me about it.
All of the guests were so friendly too. We were all having fun. We had no problems with noise or any rude guests. There were cars from Canada, Quebec and the U.S.A. Wonderful people.
This is not a new building but a well kept building. The restaurant had the best steak dinner I have ever had. We all enjoyed the huge servings and friendly service. We chose this hotel as it was away from the main crazy busy area.....only a 10 minute ride. Everything was close by but we were not in the middle of it!
We will be going there again soon.......Thank you to all of the staff there for making our getaway such a nice time!

Room Tip: We stayed in room #111.....extra large and not far from anything.

I attended a conference at this hotel and stayed there four nights. Arriving over the weekend the racket outside my door was horrible. The manager was kind enough to find me a somewhat better room, which is why I'm giving this hotel 3 stars rather than 2. The rooms are large but fairly shabby, reminiscent of a roadside motel. I was also reminded of the latter when asked for payment in advance the day I arrived, a strange practice befitting a low-level motel (standard is just to ask for credit card for security and settle when you leave). There's a small waterpark attached to the hotel, which makes this a popular and noisy family choice. Not for lovers of peace and quiet. The price is also far from cheap.
All in all, not highly recommended. There are several hotels nearby that seem to be at the same level of maintenance but are much cheaper. Or, if you're willing to pay, at least get a place by the Falls.
