Wonderful visit. We extended ourJune 2006 two-night trip for another night because it was such a nice hotel. Modern, new, luxurous full-service hotel overlooking the Horseshoe Falls. If possible, book on 30th floor or above to get admittance to "Regency Club" on 30th floor for all day snacks and appetizers.
Wonderful staff. Beautiful furnishings and decoration. (Bath and stall shower in even lowest price room, lots of marble throughout, beautiful halls and lobby.) We paid $119 for Mon/Tues for king room.
Buffet in casino (on 1st floor) is very very good. Matches best of Vegas. Room service is a tad pricey, but nicely done.
Staff is most accomodating (especially bellmen). Concierage is OK but not great.... too busy. Front desk is very nice.
Restaurants in building were sort of mediocre. (The "Famous" deli, for example.) We didn't try hotel's fancy restaurant Noir 17 because it looked to pricey. Across street is Wolfgang Puck's new restaurant which we also thought was mediocre.
Tips: Join player's advantage club in casino (free to sign up) and you can self-park car for free during stay. (Don't use valet or it costs $7 per day.)
