I stayed at the Fallsview with a group - on different floors, in different wings of the building - and every one of them had a terrific view (either American Falls, or Horseshoe Falls, or both!).
The rooms are modern, comfortable and large. Free WiFi too. (Note: others say you should book a room above the 22nd floor. Mine was on the 16th and had a great view!)

There's a mini mall and food court on the lobby level) and of course a casino (I never set foot inside, so I can't comment on the casino). Walking distance to other falls attractions (or a short cab ride if you don't want to walk). (BTW: Do NOT confuse this with the 4 Points Hilton - which shares the parking & mall but is separately operated)

Room Tip: Since rooms are only on one side of the building (otherwise they couldn't all have a view of the...

My wife and I stayed in a room overlooking both the American and Horseshoe Falls on the 27th floor. The view was spectacular and the room was pristine and perfect. Also, the A/C was quiet and you weren't even aware it was running. The casino is big, clean and smoke-free. The galleria has lots of shopping choices for the ladies and few shops that kept me interested, too. All-in-all, the resort oozes a vibe of subtle luxury without being too showy or gaudy.

I highly recommend this resort if you plan on staying for a night or two while you sightsee in the area -- whether that's shopping in Niagara-on-the-Lake, or cruising along the Niagara Parkway towards Fort Erie. I rate this location and hotel AWESOME.

If there were 10 stars vs 5, meaning "beyond expectations" this hotel would have a 10 thumbs up. Our view of the American Falls and Niagara Falls was so beautiful from our room. Advice: Pay a bit more and ask for the rooms with a fallsview above the 22nd floor.

I have travelled to many Casino resorts - but this is the best!!! Great facility and staff. First class service and a great gaming floor. Great location to explore Niagara on foot. I have a strong affinity for Niagara Falls and refer to it as my "home away from home". This place is Pure Joy! Beautiful complex. And there is NO smoking anywhere! Can take the Incline railway behind the building and you at the brink of the Falls within minutes!! Try to visit in all seasons - I visit at least 8 - 10 times a year. Someday, hope to live there!

Room Tip: Always get a Fallsview room - if you are not staying on comps, it is worth it!! Diplomat suite is...

Our 30th anniversary was spent in a diplomat suite at the Fallsview. We visit once or twice a year and are provided two nights by the casino. The diplomat suite is our preferred room style and it is large with a jetted tub and beautiful views of the falls. The rooms are always top notch as far as the bed comfort, linens and bathroom. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. We recommend this hotel to everyone. Too bad we couldn't visit more often.

Stayed three nights. Hotel was first class, lots of shops within the hotel, and very interesting layout. The hotel signage was a bit confusing, as we found it hard to find the parking garage at first. Room had the best view of the falls!!! Very comfortable. Mini fridge didn't seem to work however. Couldn't find the room service menu, and called the front desk, who said they would send one up right away. Never came. Called again, and this time they said the menu was on the TV. Other than that little confusion, good experience. Encountered the maid staff a couple of times, who were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The Fallsview hotel was clearly constructed to support the casino and is within a complex of shops, restaurants, and food court. The rooms are updated with comfortable beds, large flatscreen, in-room coffee maker, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, in-room safe and luggage rack. There could be more of a media centre for those of us with multiple electronic devices. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower. It was large and relatively comfortable. There are no tiny soaps and shampoos, in favour of dispensers by the sink and shower, the latter a combo of body wash and shampoo. The bathroom seemed a little less modern that the rest of the room. The room was not as clean as I would have liked but fine. The hotel has a lot of rooms and I feel for the cleaning staff, especially during hectic weekends.

Check in was fast and friendly. The large lobby is not well decorated and looks as though it is trying to look more impressive than it is. It lacks design and comfort. Wish it had a shop in the lobby for snacks, etc. The hallways and elevator are in good condition but look a little dated. The view from the 9th floor of the Skylon tower and U.S. falls (which don't compare to the Canadian side) was fine. The casino is quite big and has all of the modern gaming machines. The buffet can include some great selections but sometimes offers lower quality food at lunch that was not worth the full price (it was comped for me). The morning buffet breakfast was much better. Usually a very busy place during the weekend.

All in all, they do plenty of things right to attract repeat visitors, and would stay again if the room were discounted or comped.
