“Great view”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Great place, lots to do and easy to waste money and time in the casino! So quiet during the week part of our stay. Then noisy kids next door on Friday night. Thought we had booked a room with jacuzzi but I guess not :( weird tv. We wanted to watch normal tv and there is no guide to what is on and it's not through a satellite or whatever so we couldn't look it up. Plus nice TV to but no HD channels to see that the tv is any good. We asked about one restaurant that was advertised on the tv hotel channel and were told it was at the casino Niagara. Our last day we went to the casino and there it was. Seriously?

Room Tip: Higher the better

This was my second trip to the fallsview casino. The first time we stayed in December of last year and got a better room rate than I did this time. This admittedly soured the experience for me a little. I have been to Las Vegas 3 times and know how they do Casino resort Hotels and Fallsview does its best to be like Vegas. But the stores are not very different from a normal Ontario mall, (there's even a Tim Hortons in the basement) When checking in they had multiple receptionists but no concise line so those who got their first were not necessarily served first. This is a per peeve of mine, why not just add some Velvet roped barriers so the next in line gets served. Also On numerous trips I've walked thru their grounds wondering why they haven't got an easy access to the falls. You either have to take a privatly owned rail car for $2.50 each way or walk an absurd distance around the casino and down a street. Plough down the hill and put some nice stairs in.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a view of the falls, and with 35 floors insist on a central room

We did research more than two months prior to the trip. Most reviews from Tripadvisor suggested the Canadian side of the falls to stay. Glad we listened. Narrow it down to the Fallsview Casino and Resort. Asked for a higher floor with view of the falls just like some reviewers recommended. Glad we listened.

There are many falls view hotels so make sure you book the right ones. During our check in I presented my id and they couldn't find our reservation. The clerk did mentioned that there are other falls view hotels and I know I made the reservation for Fallsview Casino and Resort. Came to find out I use my wife's name for the reservation. Duhh!

The hotel was clean so is the room (with a great view of the falls). The only complain we have is the pillows. Why are they so high!? Bed was comfortable. Nice room, nice bathroom with separate bathtub and standup shower.

The hotel, like the name suggested, has a decent casino. Its smoke free. That was one of the major reason we picked that hotel. Not all drinks in the casino are free. Anything with liquor costs money. Bottled water and soda are no charge. They have a decent selection of table games - multi-deck black jack, 3 card poker, let it ride and etc. Also craps, roulette. Lots of slot machines. Button line, you will something to play.

Location of hotel was very convenient to near by attractions such as the falls, Niagara's Fury show, Maid of the Mist boat ride, Clifton Hill, and restaurants. All within walking distance.

Overall it was a great trip. One item off my bucket list.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor facing the falls when making the reservation. Ask again during check-in.

Brought my love to Niagara Falls, for her first time. Wanted to show her the best view in town. No other place but the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort wit a room with a falls view. Check in took about three minutes and soon we were looking out from our 15th floor room directly at the Horseshoe Falls from the wall to wall windows. What a breathtaking sight. To top off the view, the room is spacious with a new feel to it. The hotel is in a mall that has multiple restaurants and a huge casino. Easy access right down the hill to the falls. One block away and if you don't want to drive or walk the steep hill you can take the Incline Railway for $2.50 each way. The only hotel I go to when I come here. No other compares for location and picturesque views

Room Tip: Get the Falls View room, There are plenty and it will make your whole trip

This was our first trip to Canada and we picked this hotel because of the casino. Love the smoke-free casino! We stayed in room 1810 and it was beautiful! Excellent view of the falls. Check in was fast and staff was very pleasant. Had Steve bring in our luggage and he was very helpful! We have been to Las Vegas many times and while hard to find space at a $15 table, slots were fun!

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for the last 13 years for our anniversary. The hotel has done everything they can to such ever single penny out of you. They charge you $30 per day for parking even if you come by taxi. Their meal plans for dinner are no bargain. The restaurant is so expensive the voucher does not cover much more than a salad each. The hotel itself is ok but we too have had issues with dirty mattresses and indentations in the mattresses. Last year we were never informed prior to or until we went down that the pool was under construction. We won't be staying at a hotel again.

Nice looking hotel. On examination discovered that the mattress had a big yellow stain underneath. Instead of changing the mattress they flipped it. There are only three towels and three washcloths per room - odd. We were moved to another room while we went out. On return had to wait ages at the desk before we could get into the room while the desk clerk was whispering to someone on the phone. In the end we left when one of our friends came and let us in. Poor service all round considering the price

Room Tip: Corner rooms are a good location but check your bed and bedding
