My wife and I are foodies and always enjoy finding hidden gems for a great meal. This was one of those places. Niagra Falls on the Canadian side is really a tacky glitzy kind of place we usually avoid. But this place was worth finding. We were greeted enthusiastically when entering and given a bottle of sparkling water. The atmosphere reminded me of some places in Germany, a basement type setting, dark but very casual and nice. Started out with appies. My wife had a compressed watermelon salad she raved about. I had a tuna dish with a mix of citrus and a wasabi/creme fraiche mix that was superb. My wife then had a salmon with a wonderful sauce. I had a steak, which was a little tough, but not enough to complain about. Save room for desert. They are outstanding. First time in a long time I wanted to lick the plate. The meal was accompanied with their own made wines, which were very nice. The service was excellent. You were really made to feel special throughout the entire meal. This is a real gem among all the tackiness of the rest of Niagra Falls.
