I had my Valentine's dinner at Weinkeller and couldn't wait to go home and write this review. I am not even quite sure where to start.
Let's start with the staff. Very welcoming, cheerful and just exude energy and passion for their workplace. Everybody was helpful with navigating the menu and wine selection. The people working here are the type of people you would love to have as your friends.
As for atmosphere, again just wonderful, underground cozy restaurant with lots of great decor. Beautiful fireplace to top it all off.
Food, where do I start? I would donate my left kidney to eat here everyday. We had the bisque, warm winter salad, beef carpaccio for appetizers, steak and pork chop for entrees, and the semi freddo and won tons for desert. Every plate was just flawless, and the portions were all filling. I loved the pork chops, tender, with a delicious sauce. The warm winter salad was to die for.
Overall, I will definitely come back to this place. If you have not been here, you are missing out. Big time.
