We stayed at the hotel connected to the Perkins so it made sense to go there. But the waitress was questioning everything we said and criticized our personal preferences. Do not go here because of the rude staff, and mediocre food.

The food was good but it was expensive. Unlimited fontaine drinks and a pot of coffee. There was a coupon for 25 % off in the booklet you find everywhere. Wish I had opened before we went for supper. It was on a Tuesday evening and they must have been short staff because the poor waitress was running all over the place. The cook brought our plates. After all the wait or maybe it is customary there but we got a complimentary homemade cookie.

The staff was very friendly, no complaints about the service. We both ordered the breakfast platter with eggs, potatoes and pancakes. The food was just okay. We would not go out of our way to visit a Perkins again unless there were no other options.

My husband, son, and I had breakfast at this Perkins on Aug. 12th. We selected this restaurant because it was within walking distance from the Doubletree hotel where we were staying and because we know Perkins and enjoy their breakfasts. Although the food was good at this Perkins, it was not nearly as good as the Perkins back home in Ottawa. Also, the waitress that served us was not particularly friendly, nor was she particularly attentive. However, she did warm up somewhat towards the end of our breakfast. As for the price of our breakfast, it came to approximately $30 which we thought was reasonable for Niagara Falls (last summer, we paid over $100 for breakfast at one of the Ihops in Niagara Falls!). It would have been even more reasonable had we remembered to use our coupon for 25% off (tip: pick up a coupon book that contains this voucher from the free vending machine located in front of Applebee's on Fallsview Blvd.).
