The "poor" rating is given due to several factors. We purchased a "deal" on crowdsavings dot com, which advertised a 2 night stay + free wine tasting, $15 voucher to Outback Steakhouse, $5 Hooters voucher, $50 Captain Jack Pirates Cove Game Card, $10 IHOP voucher, free in-room wifi. Their website also lists an indoor pool and whirlpool. Okay, first thing - a $10 per night charge for parking which isn't mentioned anywhere. Then, the vouchers weren't really vouchers. They were coupons for so much off when you spent a certain amount. Next, the wifi did not work. When we inquired about it, we were told that it must be our equipment - yeah, my brand new iPad that works everywhere else. We asked about a different room and were told that the others haven't been upgraded like ours. Now would be a good time to mention that it looked like the lock on our door was held on by duct tape, there was one lamp with a very low watt lightbulb, and a wall-mounted light that was too bright, and the toilet seat was loose (girls, you know what I mean when I say that was a real pain). It was extremely noisy, as well. Our plan, in case of rain, was to spend the day in the indoor pool - except it wasn't in our motel (as advertised) - it was in the motel across the parking lot! An added "bonus" was the second day of our stay, when we came back to the room our key cards wouldn't work. We had to get new ones - next door at the motel across the parking lot - go figure. And of course, there was a long line in the lobby at the time.

Room Tip: Stay at the Baymont instead - it's the motel across the parking lot.

Deal Chicken - Thank You for reimbursing us our money!

The hotel was beyond dirty. The staff unfriendly! The indoor pool on their advertisement is located in the hotel across the parking lot. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies! Enough said!

We checked in about 5:30 and was waiting in the lobby (if that is what you call it) to check in. I fellow came running in asking if anyone has seen his daughter. He was really scarry looking!!! Went up to our room and couldn't believe what we saw. It was so dark in there you could even see anything, old TV with four channels, dirty carpeting, the beds looked horrible and the bathroom was disgusting. There was no phone, clock and the door hardly shut closed. I was afraid to leave anything in the room for fear that someone could push the door open. There were three locks on the door and only two worked and I am sure they could have been broken easily. We left our suitcases on the table for fear of bugs crawling in and went to get something to eat. Walked over to the Travel Lodge and got a beautiful room there. Never would I ever stay in a rat hole like that !!!!

Booked this room on Expedia. It was a "deal of the day" and said the savings was about 75%. We were spending the previous two nights at Four Points (Groupon deal!) and decided for the price we would stay an additional night. Looked at pics and it seemed nice. Nothing fancy, but good enough for one additional night at the Falls. Well...the location is good! Can walk to everything. But, the room was the worst I have ever seen (and I have travelled a lot!!). Front desk staff person seemed bothered and required a credit card for "incedentials" whatever that means?? Place is a dump! They put $100 hold on my card, could have bought the place for that much! If going to Niagara Falls, do a Groupon deal and stay at a NICE place for a few more dollars!

when I first went on line about this hotel and read the reviews Iwas very nervous on what to expect. I was very surprised on how nice the room was. It was clean, bathroom was clean, bed were comfortable. Yes there was basic TV but we were not there to watch TV. It was close to all the sites. Check in time was at 3PM Iwas told when I booked it that we could check in anytime after 11AM,but that was fine. Iwas surprised about paying $10.00 per day for parking. The front desk staff was pleasent enough. For what we paid it was fine. If people want better TV and better rooms then is always The Courtyard Marriot a 2 minute walk away. It serviced our purpose. I would stay at this hotel again.

Wow. My friend and I decided to stay here for labour day weekend. We REALLY should have checked out the reviews here first because we were shocked when we got there.
First of all, the room was dirty, dimly lit, and had bugs. There was no phone and no WiFi, despite the fact that we had been promised internet access when we booked. Controlling the temperature was a nightmare because it was either too hot or too cold. The TV worked fine, but it only had about six channels.
But the absolute worst part was the customer service. The guy at the front desk was the biggest jerk I've ever met! When we arrived, he said, "Hang on a minute," and sat there ignoring us for about ten minutes while a line formed behind us. He didn't smile once and spoke to us as though we were boring him. Then, when we discovered the ice machine was broken and asked him about it, he said, "There's an ice machine around the back. You just go through the alley over there, then walk around to the back of the motel and go up the stairs to the third floor," as though we should have known this! And what kind of place makes you go through an alley and up the back steps in order to get ice? I guess the same kind of place that boasts having a pool, then makes you go two hotels over to access it!!
Stay away from this place! Terrible, sketchy overall feel!
