On the way back from the US, our family of four decided to stay one more night before heading home. The rate was very competitive and by spending an additional $60, we got a corner suite.

The room was was very clean and very comfortable, especially with two children (5 & 3 years-old) running around. Although we didn't use it, the pool / hot tub and the gym were quite nice. Based on the number of parked vehicles, it appeared there weren't too many people so the hotel was very quiet which we liked. Parking, by the way, was extra.

The staff at the front desk were very pleasant. I liked the fact that they serve Starbucks coffee at the coffee shop but it appeared closed when we arrived in late afternoon on a weekday.

Breakfast was good but can definitely get better value at one of the many nearby greasy spoons.

Overall it was a pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying there again.

Room Tip: See if they have a special rate for room upgrade.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in March while visiting Niagara Falls. We walked from the Rainbow Bridge and it was doable, with a stop at a Tim Horton's! It would be a much easier walk if the weather were not so cold, but the warmth of the hotel was inviting and we forgot how cold we were on our way there. Our room was spacious, did not face the falls but offered a nice view at night of the lights around the tourist area. We were glad it was far enough away from that area, Clifton Hill, so it was bit quieter around the Doubletree. Short walk to the Falls with lots of restaurants. We did not have breakfast at the buffet, a little too pricey for us, however, there is a Perkins next door and that worked out fine. The only complaint is the WiFi service. It is free in the room but it was soooo slow that it was impossible to use, especially at night. Not as bad in the morning but still too slow to add to my travel blog so pretty much useless for me. So, if you don't care about WiFi, you'd probably rate it a 5. Very clean and quiet.

Beautiful, cosy, and view of the Falls! Service excellent and go that extra step in helping with directions and information on Falls attractions. My wife and I plan to come back for a weekend retreat of our own because we enjoyed our stay so much.

You can't usually go wrong with Hilton and this one is no exception. Rooms are very nice, washrooms clean with excellent shower heads. Nothing special to the rooms but the prices are pretty good, but watch since they charge $12/day for parking and if you're not early and have to park in the overflow lot, it's a block away. Staff are friendly and helpful but you have to go to the front desk if you want to use the small fitness centre. Pool is cute but small so if the hotel is full, it can be a bit crowded.

Room Tip: Extra charge for fallsview rooms but the extra is mininal and worth it in our opinion.

Beautiful hotel, I love the "Cabin feel" it has. The wood and stone construction is great! The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great, within walking distance to Clifton Hill. I was extremely happy to find the coffee bar in the lobby serves Starbuck's coffee. Price was excellent also. Will definitely be going back.

We are so glad to hear of your relaxing experience at our hotel. The lodge atmosphere and large fireplace in the lobby hopefully help you telax and take time away from your busy and sometimes hectic schedules. Many guests find relaxation in front of the fireplace with their starbucks coffee, Doubletree warm chocolate chip cookie and a great book. We hope to see you on a return trip to Niagara.
