“Nice, but not necessarily a must see!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

This was nice, and it was included with the tour that we took throught the lobby of our hotel. It was part of the package, and it was interesting, but I wouldn't choose it on my own. It is nice to see how things operate, and it is amazing to be so close to a natural happening, but I would just say it was okay.

“Cool Historical 15 minutes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

We spent the $36 for us both to go behind the falls, and didn't regret it. Take the time to read the plaques on the walls, and bring a waterproof camera for the viewing deck. I would also recommend a raincoat for the walk to the ticket booth-we were completely soaked by the time we walked in the mist generated from the falls to the ticket counter. They do give you a disposable rain coat (picture a trash bag with holes cut out for arms and a hood). Poor hubby and I ended up with children sized ones and barely got them over our shoulders, so check that before you get to the elevators! We watched all of our Asian friends tying up their rain coats so they would drag...lol while we at 6'4" and 5'9" got pretty wet. They say it takes 45 minutes, but we were down there 15-20 min tops. Not much to see, but still worth it.

“It was OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Waited in line to see this attraction, which turned out to be a single 2-level observatory platform and 2 portal views of nothing but the Falls splashing down. It's neat to do one time, but once you get inside it's about a 15-20 minute view. Kids had fun exploring through the tunnels though.

“Got to be done at least once”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

This was the second time I've been here. It could do with some updating as everything looks tired. But the sense you get of the power of the falls is incredible, so it's well worth a visit.
