The hotel was great - wish we had taken the falls view room. The buffet room has great views and is one of the main attractions in the Hotel. The parking is offsite and though we knew this, we did not realize that we probably needed to empty all the bags from the car which we had not planned for. If you book your travel through a travel website Hilton does not give you any HHonor points - that was a bummer.

The biggest issue I thought was that though the hotel is 1 block from the falls, there is no direct walking path to get to the falls so you are kind of forced to use your vehicle - which defeats the whole point of getting a hotel 1 block from the falls.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in many areas but can use some minor improvements. Hotel personels were friendly and helpful. Restaurant and the view of the Fall was awesome. The stay was pleasant and our family enjoyed it.

The hotel was great, location perfect. We had a Groupon offer, so the price was fair and had added food vouchers etc..... The pool was closed for maintenance, so the kids were disappointed. They offered to shuttle you to another hotel, but seriously who wants that hassle when is it cold, wet and raining outside?? The KEG restaurant was nice atmosphere, but the prices are jacked up - probably because you are having a falls view. Also, the staff seriously rushed you - we got out salad and appies and then 5 minutes later our main courses came out - wasn't at all the evening meal we were hoping for. The managers drinks were a nice touch - but only chips and carrot sticks for snacks.

Room Tip: All pictures on hotel website and brochures are all stock photos - so you won't get that same exact view of the falls from any room they offer.

Dear Tripadvisor Member,

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback with the TripAdvisor community. We are so sorry for the inconvenience our pool maintenance caused and apologize for the poor service you received in the Keg restaurant. I will be sure that this is brought to the attention of the Keg management team and we will certainly use your comments as we constantly work to improve our guests' satisfaction. We hope you will give us another chance and try us again should you return to the Falls in the future.

Thank you so much once again,

Alison Wilkinson

Rooms are huge! Close to the falls and all the attractions. Still not happy they try to charge the 3% "promotion fee". You don't have to pay this at the hotel or any other establishment in the City of Niagara. Overall fantastic place to stay!

Our family, 2 adults, 2 children went on their spring break the first week of April. We split our trip up between Toronto and Niagara Falls. We got to NF alittle early around noon and figured we'd drop our luggage off and look around the town. The assistant manager Amy(?) made our first 20 min in NF unforgettable. Our room was ready BUT she got a cancellation on a Presidental Suite and would we like it, more room for the children, and only $30 more per day. She told us it had one of the best views in the hotel, and she wasn't wrong. WELL yes we would! She gave us a deal on the valet parking and we headed right up to the corner room (2111).

I squealed when we seen what we got set up with. IT IS the best view in the hotel. Not too high, not too low. My husband would get up early and stay up late just staring at the mist and beauty of Niagara Falls. The wonderful breakfast with more great views was included in the price. GET THERE EARLY for good seating.

The maid for our room was wonderful and told us also it had one of the best views of the house. It proved itself when we sat attentive for hours after a 'jumper' wanted to go over the falls. The police thankfully talked him out of the area. We never could get into the onsite restaurant 'The Keg' but thankfully The Outback was 3 min walk outside the hotel. Don't miss the pizza place a couple minutes farther 'Zappy's(?). Wonderful pizza and they didnt' want tourist trap prices. You'll not worry about a thing staying at Embassy. BTW the beds are great too.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above the 20th floor for the best views. We were in room 2111 and it was fantastic. You will have to pay for that great view though, and it was worth it.
