“Great Hotel Great Service Great Views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2011

We stayed at this hotel for our 5th aniversary and it was great, great, great. Our room was on the 24th floor. The views are great the location is close to the casino and away from the conjestion on downtown.

Had a great time, wonderful views, rooms were nice and quiet. The higher the floor the better the view of the falls. Don't do the valet parking, it cost a little more but is not worth it. The elevators take a while, pay a bell man to help with your bags, may cost a little but that is worth the money. Great place for families with kids and honeymooners too. Walking distance to the falls, so a great location too.

On our travel back from Montreal to Florida, my wife, my teenage son, college daugther and myself decided to go by Niagara Falls on the way back. I researched a bit and found the Embassy Suites to be the best deal for us given that full breakfast is included. We booked the "city view" room as it was a much better deal than the Fall view. Well for the "city view", we got the Fal view. It was absolutely wonderful. It had two queen size beds and a large whirlpool tub and a separate shower with sparkling chrome and windows. It also had a living room area with a hide-a-bed and another television. As always, we are satisfied with Embassy Suites but this one far exceeded our expectations. There is one thing however that we did not expect is everything is EXPENSIVE in Niagara Falls. A typical TGI Friday's meal like a $9.95 burger and fries was $19.95 there. We were a little "sticker shocked" but were only there overnight and part of the morning the next day but it did catch our attention and worth while mentioning to families who are on a budget.

The lobby and Fall views were beautiful and the location was perfect - right in the center of everything. We simply left the hotel and walked to the falls area. There were different wakable restaurant and bar choices. All in all I highly recommend this hotel to couples and/or families.

Room Tip: The waterfall view was spectacular and if your budget permits, do it !

We traveled all over Northeast USA for our honeymoon. Niagara Falls was our last stop. As we pulled into Niagara we were looking at the hotels in front of us and decided Embassy Suites had the best view and looked the nicest. We paid 300+ dollars for our Fallsview Suite. Our room was on the 22nd floor and did overlook the falls--that is, if you twist your neck to the left and smear your face against the window. You could see it then! I wasn't really impressed with the rooms. The front lobby was very nice but I guess that is what I paid for. The rooms are floral/outdated. We did overlook the Falls and also air conditioners and other large ventilations machines that were loud and on the rooftop--- For being a tourist area I figured this place would be re-done with the nice white clean linen bedspreads. If you like the maroon and forest green decor then you'll love your stay. I noticed the corners of the bathroom were dirty and dirt was collected in them. Sort of gross. Otherwise, the lobby is very nice. Valet is 30 dollars. Just pay for it. It took a good 35 minutes for valet to pull our car around. Was suppose to take 5-10 minutes(we were told) We just stood in the lobby waiting the entire time. Valet people were nice about it though. Embassy Suites is right next to the Railway Lift that takes you down to the falls. Nice location to that. Since we road tripped from Wisconsin to New York city to Martha's Vineyard and over to Niagara we did stay in some very nice hotels for less than 200 dollars (New York City downtown next to Grand Central 180 dollars) These hotels were great. Last stop, Niagara---the most disappointing and cost the most. Elevators were impossible. They shut them down from 8-12 and made everyone take a side elevator. We ended up in the parking ramp, lost, just trying to get to the lobby. Ridiculous. Free breakfast was nice but it is like a cruise ship---everyone flocking towards the food. I wouldn't pay for the view again or stay again. I'd stop to see the falls and continue on. Staying in Niagara and Embassy aren't worth the money. It's a stop and go kind of place.

We stayed at this hotel for our 40th anniversary. We booked it the night before we arrived and it was nicer than even expected. Upon check-in, they gave us a king room. The bed was actually two king-size beds put together. We were on the 31st floor with a fantastic view of the falls. The free breakfast buffet was an added extra. They did charge $20 per night for parking, which did not seem really fair, as the cars were parked at a lot off-site, and we didn't even use our vehicles once we checked in, but in the end, the price we paid for our room was even less upon check-out than what was quoted on our reservation. It is at the far side of the falls, away from the Clifton Falls (touristy) area, but it was great for us. The room was very spacious. There was a casino a few blocks away for some night-time enjoyment. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were a bit confused when we were planning our trip in choosing the right hotel to stay in Niagara which offers the best fallsview. This hotel was suggested by lot of people during inquiriesm but the rating on the tripadvisor (13th at that time) did confuse me.
I must say choosing Embassy Suites turned out to be very good decision. In my view this hotel would have the best view of the falls. You have to be careful in choosing the right category of room because the pictures on the hotel website could be confusing. We chose Premium falls view room which was located on 39th floor, this was a corner room and had excellent view of the falls. Goes without saying that you need to shed a bit more to get those view and it was worth it!!
Breakfast is good and manager's reception in the evening refreshes you when you are back from a day long sight seeing.

I would recommed this hotel to all the people confused like i was!! Hope it helps!!

Nice location close to falls and great view if you get a front room. Suite hotel so many families and kids and hard to get elevators at times. Automatic charges are added to room if you do not notice them so you have to ask for them to be taken off. Expensive on season for room for two.

Room Tip: Rooms facing both falls have the best view
