Windows has an amazing view, and really tasty pork and beans.
I'm not kidding.
Hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a trip to Niagara Falls. We wanted to have a unique, romantic dinner at a spot with a great view of the falls.
It was a cold, rainy day in Niagara, so we appreciated the fact that the staff didn't frown at our sloshy appearances. They were friendly and helpful, from the valet staff (Windows will comp your parking) to the hostess to the waitstaff. We had a lovely table with a excellent view of the falls.
It was chilly due to the rain, so I started with a bowl of minestrone soup. So fresh! Hubby had an asparagus, egg and cheese dish that was surprisingly cold, but still good. For our entrees, I had the yummy scallops with cornbread and maple syrup (so good!). Hubby had the pork and beans, which was amazing and also had a hint of maple syrup.
Our dinner was a bit faster than we would've liked given the price tag, but it was fine because we had a long drive back to Toronto - in the rain.
The final verdict: give Windows a try. I doubt you'll regret it.
