Owner description: Located in the heart of Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill since 1963, the always growing Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum still holds on to the reputation as Niagara’s best museum. Authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals are only the beginning here. Housing an impressive collection of the odd, strange and unbelievable from around the world, the museum showcases over 700 mind boggling exhibits, oddities, curiosities and illusions throughout their extraordinarily themed galleries. Several videos and displays allow for an interactive experience leaving you to decide whether you believe it or not!Take a stroll through what is perhaps the most humorous of cemeteries, containing various gravestones engravings that will make you giggle with disbelief. Among the museum’s strange and unbelievable artifacts is the Niagara Theatre. It is the only one of its kind in Niagara Falls! Guests are invited to sit down, relax and get blown away by the museum’s film showcasing those daredevils brave enough to face the wrath of the falling water, and those who accidentally took a trip over the falls. Plenty of photo-ops are also scattered around the museum from an 18th Century Spanish Public Humiliation Stock to the world’s tallest man’s Chippendale Chair. Kids of all ages (as well as adults!) love to engage themselves in Ripley’s Wacky Explorative Room where they are challenged with various curiosities and interactive displays such as the very popular shadow wall.Spend anywhere from an hour to an entire day exploring the first class entertainment that Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum has to offer. For years, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum has shocked and amazed tourists from all over the world as well as residents from the Niagara Region. No matter the reason for your visit to Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Believe It or Not should be a “must see” on your itinerary!

As with everything in Niagara Falls, it's overpriced. It's great if you're careless about your money and if you have loads of free time. It was interesting with all the artifacts, exhibits and stories, but the one in the UK has so much more.

We did made of the mist the behind the falls and the wind tunnel on the American side. So we did it all and had some time to kill. This is what I chose to do and it was quite interesting and fun. I love believe it or not. What is there not to like about it. Kids and adults seem to have fun there. Give it a try the worst thing that can happen is you lose sixteen dollars.

I loved this place! I thought the Clifton Hill area at niagara was generally really tacky and not particularly good but this attraction stood out for me ... It has loads of interesting exhibits, stories, artefacts etc including a huge chair made for the biggest person in the world, life size models of the tallest man ever, the fattest person etc ... Around every corner we were confronted with a whole new array of interesting things all of which were well explained and at the end saying 'believe it or not!' .. This was my personal Number 1 attraction at Clifton Hill, Niagara..

It was around $13 each entrance and we considered that good value as we got a good 1.5 hours of good entertainment from it ...

When my family and grandsons travel to Niagara Falls for our annual trip, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum is always on our agenda! As a teacher who taught for 34 years, I enjoy listening to my grandsons discuss their astonishment regarding the displays. We look for the new items and they become the topic of discussion for our family! A special treat this year included the "Wax Hands" which were made from our grandsons dipping their hands into a wax mixture. we purchased the finished product at the entrance of the museum. Each of our three grandsons had a wax impression of their hand which made a super souvenir of our trip. Our oldest grandson who is 13 put his hand into a World War II "V" for victory since he has several World War II items displayed in his room at home. We also include the Maid of the Mist boat ride near the Falls. We were informed that the Maid of the Mist will go to the American side of the falls after October. A company will have newer glass covered boats to venture near the falls on the Canadian side. As many times that we travel to Niagara Falls, we know that each visit has so much more to see and appreciate! Clifton Hill offers arcades, museums and the enjoyable Rain Forest Café Restaurant. We can't wait for our next visit to Niagara Falls!

It's an interesting way to spend an hour or two, but at $16 a person it seemed overpriced. Not really that large, but it's one continuous loop which can feel claustrophobic. There is a bathroom about 2/3 of the way through. Displays are typical of Ripley's, if you've ever been to one of their museums.
