Owner description: Located in the heart of Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill since 1963, the always growing Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum still holds on to the reputation as Niagara’s best museum. Authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals are only the beginning here. Housing an impressive collection of the odd, strange and unbelievable from around the world, the museum showcases over 700 mind boggling exhibits, oddities, curiosities and illusions throughout their extraordinarily themed galleries. Several videos and displays allow for an interactive experience leaving you to decide whether you believe it or not!Take a stroll through what is perhaps the most humorous of cemeteries, containing various gravestones engravings that will make you giggle with disbelief. Among the museum’s strange and unbelievable artifacts is the Niagara Theatre. It is the only one of its kind in Niagara Falls! Guests are invited to sit down, relax and get blown away by the museum’s film showcasing those daredevils brave enough to face the wrath of the falling water, and those who accidentally took a trip over the falls. Plenty of photo-ops are also scattered around the museum from an 18th Century Spanish Public Humiliation Stock to the world’s tallest man’s Chippendale Chair. Kids of all ages (as well as adults!) love to engage themselves in Ripley’s Wacky Explorative Room where they are challenged with various curiosities and interactive displays such as the very popular shadow wall.Spend anywhere from an hour to an entire day exploring the first class entertainment that Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum has to offer. For years, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum has shocked and amazed tourists from all over the world as well as residents from the Niagara Region. No matter the reason for your visit to Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Believe It or Not should be a “must see” on your itinerary!

Not sure that this attraction is really worth the cost.
Bizarre stuff but certainly interesting.
I think a visit here once is all you need in your life!

“Lots of interesting facts”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

The museum is one of the better attractions on Clifton Hill. Though parts of it may need updating, it is still quite an interesting experience. Definitely pick this over the Guiness World Records Museum.

“Interesting”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

It was interesting to visit this, getting more information about the people who have gone over the falls and other interesting facts about the area, there was of course the usual things in the museum as well that would be in most of them, but the majority of it tried to focus about the falls.

“In need of an update...”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Ripley's Believe it or not is in need of an update. It has been the same stuff for years. So it would defiantly be a one time thing if you've never been. Cheapest place to get your wax hands done.

“Great place to visit on the Clifton Hills!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

The is was such a fun place to visit! We had such a fun time here. Great displays and really nice staff. The museum is full of fun stuff to believe or not! There are special extras you can scan with your smart phone app and free wifi- great for international travel since we turned our service off... And the app you download with all the extras makes lots of fun later as we traveled 10 hrs home.

We bought the three attraction pass- they don't expire so you can use them over several days. We choose the museum, the toussand's wax museum (not the best attraction but you can get up close to all the statues for pics) and the moving theatre. There are coupons everywhere on the hill for $2 off each attraction. We didn't care for the wax museum so we would have been better off to buy individually and use the $2 off coupons.

The wax store at the end is fun but spendy. you have to take a number if you want to dip your hand. So the wait was about a half hour. Great souvenir for the kids though!
