Owner description: Located in the heart of Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill since 1963, the always growing Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum still holds on to the reputation as Niagara’s best museum. Authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals are only the beginning here. Housing an impressive collection of the odd, strange and unbelievable from around the world, the museum showcases over 700 mind boggling exhibits, oddities, curiosities and illusions throughout their extraordinarily themed galleries. Several videos and displays allow for an interactive experience leaving you to decide whether you believe it or not!Take a stroll through what is perhaps the most humorous of cemeteries, containing various gravestones engravings that will make you giggle with disbelief. Among the museum’s strange and unbelievable artifacts is the Niagara Theatre. It is the only one of its kind in Niagara Falls! Guests are invited to sit down, relax and get blown away by the museum’s film showcasing those daredevils brave enough to face the wrath of the falling water, and those who accidentally took a trip over the falls. Plenty of photo-ops are also scattered around the museum from an 18th Century Spanish Public Humiliation Stock to the world’s tallest man’s Chippendale Chair. Kids of all ages (as well as adults!) love to engage themselves in Ripley’s Wacky Explorative Room where they are challenged with various curiosities and interactive displays such as the very popular shadow wall.Spend anywhere from an hour to an entire day exploring the first class entertainment that Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum has to offer. For years, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum has shocked and amazed tourists from all over the world as well as residents from the Niagara Region. No matter the reason for your visit to Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Believe It or Not should be a “must see” on your itinerary!

The is was such a fun place to visit! We had such a fun time here. Great displays and really nice staff. The museum is full of fun stuff to believe or not! There are special extras you can scan with your smart phone app and free wifi- great for international travel since we turned our service off... And the app you download with all the extras makes lots of fun later as we traveled 10 hrs home.

We bought the three attraction pass- they don't expire so you can use them over several days. We choose the museum, the toussand's wax museum (not the best attraction but you can get up close to all the statues for pics) and the moving theatre. There are coupons everywhere on the hill for $2 off each attraction. We didn't care for the wax museum so we would have been better off to buy individually and use the $2 off coupons.

The wax store at the end is fun but spendy. you have to take a number if you want to dip your hand. So the wait was about a half hour. Great souvenir for the kids though!

Any time i go to Naigra Falls I go to Ripley's. I was sad to see on this trip that some exhibits had been downscaled to make room for other things - at times it did affect the presentation.

There are some good highlights throughout, like the lifesized statue of the world's tallest man, and the world's largest collection of multi leaf clovers - but it did seem a little dates.

I like Ripley's and would welcome them taking on a real revamp brightening things up and getting a little more content.

Ripleys is a staple tourist stop on Clifton Hill. The outside of the building looks like a knocked over building with King Kong on top. When you step inside, there are a few exhibits that are free to see. They give you a glimpse of what to expect. Tickets were reasonable and worth it. The museum is filled with many interesting exhibits about the oddities of humanity and our planet. From the worlds tallest man, to the man that weighed over 1400 lbs., to deformed humans and creatures, to shrunken heads, there are many very interesting displays inside. Some are downright gruesome when you read the corresponding details that go along with each of the artifacts. We really enjoyed walking through the museum as did my two little boys. The tour was quite long and ran longer than I thought would. A big plus for the value. Towards the end, there is a walkway that runs through a spinning tunnel of lights that is completely disorrienting. It was a really cool experience. There is also a room geared more for the kids with various mind-bending puzzles and such. You exit the museum into a small gift shop (Ripleys could really milk the tourism souvenir trap more but gracefully didn't). Instead, they have a Wax studio. You can make a wax cast of your hand in whatever position you desire. The whole process was really cool and both my wife and my 5 year old did it. The people behind the counter were very pleasant and engaging. It was a really cool experience and one that I think my 5 year old will remember. So, Ripleys did not disappoint. I will certainly go back again next time I am in town. I encourage everyone to visit if they get the chance. (Update: The wax hands are very delicate and you need to treat them as such.)

It was my first time visiting a Ripleys Believe it or Not museum.
I guess they all have the same element with the tallest and heaviest man, where the measures where mentioned in local measures.
Otherwise I think it is a naive exhibition made for a naive uneducated audience.
