“Enormous selection of butterflies”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

This was the best butterfly exhibit that I have ever seen. The butterflies were numerous and many varieties were present! Make certain to take advantage of the coat rack, inside temperatures are humid even in the winter. Kids loved it! Great photo opportunities!

Purchase the Niagara Magic Pass so you can enjoy free admission!

“Best place to visit in the Winter”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

We went on a cold winter day. Inside the conservatory, it was like walk into the tropics a nice change from the cold outside.

The lobby is tastefully design. There are coat racks to the right of the lobby for you to ditch you coat. A quick education video explaining a few rules and then you are off into the jungle of butterflies. It was amazing. There was so many kinds.

The exit path leads you directly into the gift shop, and the prices are reasonable.

Nice to be away from hustle and bustle and go to the solitute of the botanical gardens. Every photographer will take great pictures with all the flowers and butterflies that land on your shoulder.

“Great place to visit with kids”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

We visit this every year in the summer and winter, because our little guy loves the butterflies and the gift shop. There is always something going on as well in the lobby- we were too early for the new insect exhibit, but we caught the reptile one last year and it was fantastic. Staff are friendly, and the exotic plants and flowers were an added bonus to the multitude of moths and butterflies.
It looks like the entrance fee has decreased, but I may be wrong. In the summer, the expanse of flowers maintained by the nearby horticultural school is gorgeous, and the grounds are a good walk. A great place to visit if you are at the Falls or by the lake.
