The good things about this hotel are the location, free parking and breakfast.

The bad, almost everything else. At the first glance, one would realize this is a motel, not a hotel and it has that cheap look that all motels have. Now, I see that they have probably redone the rooms but they are small and do not find them very clean, dirty windows, noisy and out dated air conditioner unit. The staircase, going into the room, looks horrible, full of cobwebs, dirty and with an horrendous smell. My son was bitten by some insects that must have been in the room, I guess although I never saw them.

I regret not spending a little bit more and stayed in a better hotel. I know the price was good and reading the reviews made me think it would be fine but it definitely was not.

I would not go back nor would I recommend it to anyone going to Niagara Falls.

We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean, loved the laminate floors and no carpet! Newly renovated with modern fixtures / tile, flat screen TV. Conditioner, shampoo and lotion are provided, nice subtle clean scent. The sun shone directly into our window in the morning, but the air conditioner cooled the room down fast (controlled by in room thermostat). Agree with other reviewers, that the setup is more like a motel in parts. There is the main building which is about 4 floors high, which is more set up like a hotel. Then there are two other sections (the three sections form a U shape around the parking lot) a string of about 10 units 2 floors high and another row of about 4 units about 3 floors high. We stayed in the 2 floor section that was connected to the fabulous, warm, clean, pool and hot tub (shower and towels provided at pool). Our room was on the top (2nd floor) and from the walkway / balcony outside our room, we could see the fireworks (Fri and Sunday nights). The breakfast is served is a spacious area next to the check-in desk. It was filling, all you can eat - cereal (raisin bran, corn flakes, rice crispies and froot loops), muffins and crescent rolls, white/brown toast with jam (strawberry and raspberry), yogurt, fruit salad (primarily peaches and pineapple, with grapes and a few cherries - from a jar), plain oatmeal, apple and orange juice, scrambled eggs, sausage links, coffee and tea. Great location, across from fallsview casino, near skylon. Enjoyed free newspaper (Globe and Mail), need to go down to office to pick-up, free parking, free breakfast and free Wifi - found it fast and easy to use. Downsides, were minor, could at time hear noise from other rooms, but if the AC was on it would drown it out. We arrived at 3pm, and had no problem parking, but overheard others who arrived later did. Breakfast was provided on disposable bowls and plates with only a trash can provided for waste, I meant to ask, but forgot, hope this waste eventually gets recycled. I saw one traveller who brought her own reusable bowl - great idea!

Room Tip: Instead of booking online, advise you to call the hotel directly to secure a falls view. Only a few...

Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. Wanted a room upstairs and made other changes like cutting back on our reservations and staff had no issues. Location was so convenient to falls and bus stop. Room was very clean. Breakfast was ok, it was better than buying food which is very expensive in the area.

This was the perfect choice location-Wise, as it is right next to all the attractions near the Niagara Falls. Cheap price, breakfast included. I just want to warn you guys that this is not a hotel, it is a motel. The outside isn't great looking, the room is small and renovated. Not a lot of parking spaces (was full when we arrived....). In summary, would go back because of location only, but wouldn't go back just for the motel.

The location of this hotel is really good. It is closed to the fall, the skylon, the new casino. The room is completely renovated with wood floor and a nice modern bathroom. There is plenty of parking space, a nice indoor pool. They served very good breakfast with eggs and sausages. The staff is very helpful and super friendly too. We stayed the night before in a Quality hotel on the other side of the bridge (in the US) and it was completely the opposite. Proud to say that the quality, the service and the value on Canadian side is way better!!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the side are renovated.

We only stayed for 1 night, but we loved this spot. Upon arrival we observed the old brickwork and dated balconies. We thought that the place would be okay at best. How wrong we were. We checked in to an amazing room, spacious and well fitted. The breakfast hit the spot and the pool was heated as promised. To top it off it is smack bang in the middle of it all. Not to mention the staff, who were all incredibly friendly.
To sum it up we got more bang for our buck and would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Room Tip: Go higher, and absolutely get a renovated room. We stayed on the 7th floor.

This hotel is the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at We are in Niagara at least 6 times a year and this is the only place we stay, the service is excellent and the rooms are even better. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a clean hotel at really good prices. It is within walking distance to the falls and a short walk to Clifton hill . The casino across the street has a lot of really good restaurants to choose from or there is a couple of places to eat around the corner. The Cascade is like our home away from home We have been staying here for at least 5 years and would never ever stay anywhere else.
