In a strip mall with free parking and a little out of the way the Mai Thai Restaurant offers decent food in a pleasing ambiance. An extensive menu offers many choices and a number of entrees normally found on a Chinese restaurant menu. Assisted by friendly, helpful wait staff, we selected Penang Shrimp Curry and a Penang Chicken Curry. Both were tasty but perhaps the peanut flavor was a little overpowering. A Gewuerztraminer white wine was excellent, yet a glass of Cabernet/Merlot was oxidized past drinkable. Though we wanted to pay for it anyway, the waitress insisted on taking it off the tab. All in all, one does not go wrong coming to this reasonably priced restaurant.
