The whole process of forming your wax hands is honestly pretty cool. The water is freezing, but the wax and the paint are really warm. There are quite a few colors that you can choose from. If you decide not to use a color, your hand comes out basically white (of course...it's wax). You have many choices for your wax hand - color, glaze, holding an object, holding someone's hand, etc. They can write on the finished hand(s) for you or you can purchase a wax pen to do your own writing at a later time. My husband and I were in Niagara Falls Canada for our anniversary so we did ones holding hands. It was neat how the worker got our hands to form together after mostly creating them apart. It doesn't take long, but the woman that did ours seemed to make sure that everything was just right. I think that it could be a little cheaper, especially if you do the museum first, but it was worth it and they look awesome when they are finished.
