Was visiting Niagara Falls, tucked away in a corner saw curry queen. It is owned by a pakistani origin couple. The female owner wears a burkha/head scarf and is near the reception area. The husband is normally in the kitchen.
We ordered off the menu rather than the buffet.
The food was not amazing or exception. It was average. I was looking to have indian food that day and found this place. At first the food we ordered tasted not great, added a little salt to the food, and then it tasted better. eventually the taste grew, the naan bread is also decent.
If you cannot find another option or not happy with the other options in town or cannot wait till your back in your home city and must have indian food, then this is the place to go.
The staff, mostly indian christian girls, really skinny ones, one who served us Anne, was prompt, friendly and served us well.
The place has an open front entrance, so you can get the wind from the outside, has a festive atmosphere near the clifton hill area as the near by back drop.
Do not expect five star level gourmet indian food, expect something enough to get by on. Then you will be alright.
Be aware of all this before you walk in.
Also aware there are three types of taxes on the bill you will get, a federal tax and a provincial tax, and a local tax, also any extra stuff you want like onions, lemon, pickle which is normally free at other place, they charge you a ridiculous three or more dollars for each item.
