I was so excited until we arrived. We were here for our 6th anniversary. We ordered the romance packaging thinking we would get everything it said. FYI February was "ROMANCE PACKAGE MONTH". We arrived and we were missing the wine, flowers and chocolate and that was mostly the reason for ordering this package. When asking the desk person they stated that there was only 1 kind of wine left out of 3 kinds. (It was of course the kind I didn't want) No more chocolates left and they gave us free parking to replace the chocolates... Oh yay so romantic. I was so disappointed I felt like our anniversary was ruined before it started! Never ever coming back! How can they advertise for "ROMANCE PACKAGE MONTH" and not have any supplies to fulfill their promise! Worst hotel experience ever!

We booked a package - and while the hotel is nice enough and the package is a decent deal, we expected to be able to see the falls from our room as that was part of the package description. However, when we arrived, all we had was a view of the parking lot. When we called to try to get a higher room we were told that because we ordered a package we receive a 'falls side' room - on one of the lower floors. This apparently is different from a 'fallsview room'. We were disappointed and the staff told us there was nothing they could do. It could be we were unlucky - however, be forewarned - if you want to have a nice view of the falls - there's a chance you'll be looking at a whole lotta parking lot instead.

Room Tip: Don't book a package deal

We went here for a romantic break the room was very clean. The view from the room was fantastic we could see the Canadian side of the falls,as well as the American side. We had a beautiful bathroom with tea and coffee facilities. We can't wait to go back again it was such good valve for money.

Breathtaking views of American and Horseshoe falls but the room very ordinary..television is from 1920.... No tea, no pen and paper, bathroom no where to put your toiletries, no refrigerator, the bed was comfortable and clean. No free Wi Fi.....Parking $15 per night, dinner package OK for $69 extra.

Room Tip: Check all avenues for best prices...worth in the long run... Priceline we found good.

Had one of the jacuzzi rooms overlooking the falls ... Very nice! The packages are a great value and even the meals included were awesome !! The hotel is close to the Fallsview Casino, easily walkable even in the cold January weather. great view of the falls and pretty easy to walk down to the falls from this hotel.

TIRED, TIRED HOTEL............needs lots of TLC. Check in was slow. Handicap parking was an issue.Hallways cold and carpet tired and faded. Room was 'tired'. Bed uncomfortable and sheets were threadbare Furniture was all scuffed and chunks missing from corners! The bathroom needed a lot of TLC.The view was good (anything over 9th floor is best). Casino and restaurants within walking distance. The Website must show old pics of rooms!!

Room Tip: Higher floors have good view of falls.

First off, I would like to say, if you enjoy old, rundown hotels with no updates and very little parking (at a cost of $15) then this hole is for you! Thankfully, my wife and I only stayed one night and had a great trip excluding the hotel. We walked in the hotel and the people at the front desk were very nice. We got our keys and headed upstairs. I travel all the time for work and have stayed in my share of old hotels, but was not expecting this. We walked in and the first thing we see when we turn on the lights is cracked tiles on the floor. We looked up and the sink was right there as you walk in. Left of the sink is a tiny washroom. We walked further into the room and could tell they have not done one, single update since opening the doors. The heating system was archaic and it was almost impossible to get the right temperature. All night it was either too hot or too cold. Both of us woke up with dry sore throats in the morning. The biggest disappointment however, was when I got out of bed and headed into the shower only to find out the faucet was damaged and I could not turn on the water. No shower... Is this still Canada? It seems to me that the hotel wants to charge the current rates, but does not want to fix anything or update anything that would make these rates applicable. Never again! Live and learn I guess.
