“Days Inn Clifton Hill”

My wife, two children and I stayed here one night in January 2012. I booked a basic room online in the tower part of the hotel with no problem. When we got to our room, it was quite cold - so we turned on the heat and went for a walk. Upon returning, the room was still cold. One call downstairs and they sent someone up within minutes - he couldn't fix the heater so they gave us an upgraded room at no charge. In the middle of the night, I awoke to people having a party in a nearby room. Another call downstairs and gentleman said he would investigate. Several minutes later, everything was quiet again. I also got a letter in the morning apologizing for the noise and my parking charge was waived. Service was excellent. Pool and hot tub were nice too.

Room Tip: Get a room in the newer tower section - not the older "motel type" rooms.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel that we have stayed at in Niagara Falls. In the two days we were there not once did they plow the parking lot after it snowed. They didnt even shovel and salt the stairs until something was said. The beds were extreamly hard and uncomfortable. They say that there is free wireless internet at the hotel but we were not able to access it once from our room. I will not be staying here again.

From check- in to check-out and everything in between we found excellent. From the clean rooms, outstanding meals to the relaxing hot-tub. The front desk crew were helpful and answered all questions pertaining to directions and activities that was happening in Niagara Falls. I would highly recomend this hotel to everyone and hope that the have the same experience we had.

We stayed at the hotel back in August. When I booked the room I did not realize that the room was in the courtyard or what that meant. The courtyard area is an older part of the hotel which would have been fine BUT there is no elevator. After a week of camping we had about 8 large pieces of luggage. The clerk was a bit snippy at first but came up to us and upgraded up to a suite at no charge. The room was very nice and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is walking distance to everything you will want to do. Again make sure you understand the courtyard is NOT part of the main building in the pictures and is much older..

When we stayed here. It was the middle of summer and very hot. The room was very clean and the air con. was much welcomed after a day at the falls. They do have an indoor pool that made it extra nice. Though the pool is a bit small. It was a welcome site at the end of the day. Below the hotel is an Apple Bees Res. Also handy that you do not have to travel far to eat. Over all I cannot think of anything bad to say about this hotel. Very nice & clean and the staff was friendly. And also it is walking distance to all the fun on Clifton Hill.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the street side. Traffic...

We just stayed in a tower room and was very disappointed, I've stayed at this property many times over the years in the tower and it was new and nice. During this stay the hallways are in rough shape, in need of a coat of paint and a carpet cleaner. Every hotel room door is dirty with grime and is need of a wipe down with cleaner. Found the fleece blanket had stains on it then took it off the bed and the bottom sheet flipped up to expose a red stain on the mattress. On the wall was dried ketchup? dripped down under the desk, looks like it's been there for a while. Hair in the bath tub and stained lamp shade. This is what you call a clean room? During check out I mentioned that the room was in rough shape, she changed the subject and replied that the hallways needed some work. Come on management, take some pride in the rooms. See pictures attached.

Brought some people I support to this hotel for their vacation..Had to almost argue with the front desk over parking for the wheelchair accessible van that we brought. Then had a lengthy discussion with another person at the front desk after their mixup with the rooms that we had booked. If I was by myself, I definitely would have walked out of the hotel at this time, but we were stuck for accomodation after driving 4 hours and having people who need accessible places (which we were ensured this hotel was) Then they made it sound like we were getting a favour done for us once they rebooked a room for us and didn't charge for the change.
The front desk were no help at all, not expecting a concierge to help with the bags, but when they see the efforts and struggles we had to take, they coulda lent a hand.
I was disgusted by the way the hotel handled these accomodations and would NEVER recommend anyone who needs wheelchair accessibility to stay at this hotel. In fact, I personally will never recommend this hotel to anyone (I had stayed there in the past and had no problems which is why I recommended it in the first place) now based on the experience we had there.

Room Tip: The room we had in the main building was noisy due to some partiers beside us...try courtyard..the w...
