The beds were like sleeping heaven. The free breakfast was a good start to the day.
Ask about the great wine tour they offer.

We wanted a weekend getaway within driving distance from Toronto. We wanted clean, friendly and close to all amenities in Niagara Falls.
We found it all in the Days Inn near the Falls, on Victoria Avenue.
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and fresh and the pool was in good shape.
Continental breakfast, simple but adequate.
We will be back!

We stayed here for two nights. The main reason for staying at this hotel is becuase we visit Niagara quite often and like to try different hotels. Another reason we stayed here is because it is one of the few smoking hotels left in Niagara.

The good: The location of the hotel was ideal for us. There were a lot of restaurants around and it was pretty much right in the middle of both casino's so you could walk to either one.

The bad: They say that the have just put in new mattresses. Well they might be new but they are awful. When we were both in the bed together, we would both gravitate to the middle of the bed because of the poor quality. It was hard to get a good nights sleep when you are squished together.
The tv only got about 7 channels (not a huge deal but kind of inconvenient).
There was a ton of mold in the shower.
The light in bathroom was terrible quality and flickered constantly. It made you dizzy if you were in there too long.
The jacuzzi wasnt clean when we got there - gross.
When I reserved the room I asked if there were irons in the rooms. The told me yes. Well there werent so I called down to the front desk and they brought one up within minutes. Unfortunately the iron and the board were such poor quality that it ruined by blouse.
The windows didnt open and there was no ventilation (this is usually nice to have when in a smoking room and plus the humidity from the jacuzzi)
The towels were ridiculously small (and we are both not big people at all!)
They say that breakfast is included. Well its actually a serve yourself continental breakfast which was coffee, juice and donuts.
Overall we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of October and i have to say i have NO IDEA what all the bad reviews are about, i can't think of one bad thing to say about this hotel. We arrived at about 6pm after a long transatlantic flight and check in took all of 30 seconds and when we got to our room we were amazed at how big it was, 2 queen sized beds, spotlessly clean with big bathroom and with power shower over the bathtub.

The location is excellent, about a 5-10 minute stroll from the actual falls and a 5 minute walk from the main street with all the attractions and restaurants. We also had breakfast included in the price which was continental, including cereals, coffee, juice, toast, bagels, muffins and doughnuts.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again, i just wish we had longer there!

It would be hard to fault the location of this hotel as it is only a short walk from Clifton Hill, the Falls and the Casino.

It would also be hard to fault the cleanliness of the room as it was spotless.

However, we had to wait 20 minutes to check in despite arriving just after 3 in the afternoon when we were told we could check in, as the room was still being cleaned.

While we were there, something went wrong with the water supply which meant that it was not drinkable. We noticed that the water was dark yellow after filling a glass early one morning and when we went down for breakfast, there were signs alerting customers to the fact there was a problem on the coffee and tea facilities.

We just thought that it might have been a good idea to make staff more aware of the problem maybe by putting notes under the doors or something, or a sign in the lobby.

The breakfast was OK - a good selection of pastries, cereal and yogurt, but alas no tea or coffee!

Although the room was large, clean and quiet, we would be reluctant to stay here again.
