My husband & I stayed here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We chose this place cause of the closeness to the falls & Clifton Hill. That was the only thing it was good for. Room sucked, jets broken in tub, told front desk, they did nothing about it. WiFi password didn't work, any time I told the front desk, they just gave me a number to call. So I had to use the computer in the lobby or rake up my cell data usage. Plus to add to it all, after a long day of sightseeing there was a message on our phone from the front desk telling us we had to move our car due to re-painting the parking lot. So I had to go back down 4 floors and through the really long hallway then out to my car. Pool was the most decent feature at this hotel.

I sorry to hear that the stay was not what you were expecting. We do have staff on at all hours to assist with such issues if the guest allows to in terms of the whirlpool. Along with the complimentary WIFI there is 24 hour support from the company that provides the service for us and that is the number they would have given to you. If I may suggest if there were issues talk to management at the time as we may be able to do something then rather than hearing about it 6 months later. It is unfortunate these issues caused you an inconvenience, I apologize for the issues and hope you would give us the opportunity to redeem ourselves on the next visit to Niagara. Thank you for choosing Howard Johnson.

I stayed with a few friends for a birthday celebration over a few days. The staff checking in were good and they provided us with the vouchers for our packages. They were helpful in explaining the WEGO system and provided brochures. The location is good if you are into the Clifton Hill stuff, and not too far from the Falls. The balcony rooms are great for those who want to enjoy some fresh air and catch a glimpse of the falls (and smoking is allowed on them). The rooms needs some updating as the TVs and furniture are very old school, and we heard lots of banging through the walls. The beds are very comfy though. But overall, considering the value, it was good
