Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites

We paid $109 CAD/night, so it was very affordable. Nice, modern hotel. Check-in could've been a bit friendlier. There is only valet parking ($20), so take my advise and park across the street at the casino for $5 self-park. Nice rooms. I think all the rooms are suites, at least in the North Tower where we stayed. We were on the 15th floor, but could see a bit of the falls. Walkway to casino made it very convenient. The fire alarm sounded off at 7:30am. Everyone evacuated. Then they announced that it was a false alarm. I think the alarm went off because off all the construction that was occurring at the hotel. They were probably testing the systems and hit a wrong button.

We arrived on Friday afternoon only to find the valet area completely overrun. I should have know this was a bad sign. The elevators were slow, the north tower ones had a lineup. We were given a room on the 9th floor, the toilet wouln't splush, when it finall cleared sewage came up the bathtub. Gross! We changed rooms and then got the 41 floor.

The Hilton is within walking distance to the main attractions at Niagara Falls - Journey Behinf the Scenes as well as Maid of the Mist. The hotel is right across the street from the Casino.

The lobby is busy with people checking in and out and it can be a little confusing. Parking is $20 per stay and you can call your car as many times as you want during your stay but with the hotel being so close to everything you don't really need your car once you check in.

The hotel offers Hilton Premier Tours and there is a stand right next to check in - avoid this!!! I had done some research prior to coming and when I asked them about the tour, the cost per person is $149 Canadian but what they offer is basically the same thing as what you can find at the kiosks where attractions are 40% and you can do the activities at your own leisure - the cost for this pass was $45 Canadian per person!!! There is no real difference in the packages other than the Hilton tour is a 5.5 hour tour where you get to ride a bus to each attraction . I am so glad we declined and decided to venture to the main area instead.

The hotel room is old and needs to be updated. The decor is old fashioned with sheets that need to be replaced. The TV is not one of the new LCDs but a tube TV and the reception can be fuzzy.

Since we have not seen the rooms in any other hotels in the area we don't know if this is the standard for all hotels around here but after having just been at a Westin in Toronto, this hotel room comes up short.

My wife and I decided to go to Niagara falls a couple of weeks ago. I found a great AAA rate of about $119 U.S. a night for a two bedroom suite, king beds, jacuzzi bath, cool faux fireplace and outstanding falls view in the new wing on the 21st floor. Check-in time is advertised at 4:00 P.M., and we had no problem planning around that. Hotel staff was very helpful and courteous and the breafast provided on he 33rd floo ohe oth tower was good.
Yes, we did have a couple of ropes and cables dangling back-and-forth in front of our window at times, but only intermittently present. No big deal. The one thing that did irritate me was after ordering a Vodka Martini at the Blue Martini bar on the top floor, I got a bill for $18 and I took issue with the server and then got the price reduced to the advertised menu price. Check your bill.

Just stayed one night at the Hilton Niagara Falls and had an fantastic room in the new tower. My girlfriend and I just stayed one night and got an great deal for a suite with two bedrooms and an amazing view of the Falls.

We each had a king size bed with plasma tv. The room had jacuzzi tub and a fireplace too. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the new Romano' Macaroni Grill in the hotel.

The hotel is still completing the parking garage,so getting your vehicle from the valet parking is a little slow, but it is just temporary and was not such a long wait.

It is right across from the new casino and connected with a covered bridge,so it's easy to go over and have some fun in the casino without even getting wet if it's raining or cold.

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Well, we were there 3 nights in a "family suite" in the new north tower. There was constant work going on as we were there. Only 1/2 of the elevator bank was working, so we ended up using the service one quite a bit which was just covered in plywood and we had to wait by the trash on the floor to use it. The breakfast buffet was alright but could have been better. Our server one morning couldn't seem to grasp the English words for "coffee" and "orange juice" as we had to ask her three times. The waffles were barely warm and served with cold syrup, so once you got back to your seat you had cold waffles. It's not a huge thing, but I love waffles and was really looking forward to them. All they needed was hot syrup. We got a note on our door letting us know to check out early as valet is a nightmare, and the only choice (they are building a garage onsite so it should get better). We left at 8AM so we beat the rush (thank goodness). When we wanted to checkout our car to go to Niagara on the Lake it took at least 15 minutes each time. The suite was very nice, but incomplete. For example, there was a space for a minifridge, but no minifridge. The jacuzzi was awesome! I would stay here again, but not until everything was done.

We got to the Hilton Fallsview after being harassed by a sniveling Canadian immigration officer who insinuated that my family and I were terrorists. We almost turned back at the border after being treated so rudely by the Canadian government. The check-in at Hilton Fallsview was prompt and friendly after the bell staff work feverishly to take care of our needs. I can't say enough good things about the exemplary bell staff. This hotel is across the street from a local casino and therefore blocks good views of the horseshoe falls. Our room was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite in the brand-new North Tower. Boy! That was definitely worth it...a fantastic King suite that featured a huge jacuzzi with automatic privacy shutters. It was very clean, well-appointed and smelled great (the A/C works!). The South Tower rooms appeared to be older and not in good shape. Very pleased with the accommodations and plan to return again. Just avoid the on-going construction which should end in a few months.
CAUTION: avoid dining at the MACARONI GRILL located in the lobby promenade! It opened a few weeks before our visit. Management made a big mistake opening the restaurant before it was 100% ready with adequate staffing! They failed to bring us two orders of grilled salmon (the lasagna was burnt and not edible by anyone except the cook). After we patiently waited NINETY MINUTES we grabbed hold of the MOD who said they were way behind schedule due to a 56-person group that arrived before us. Very, very disappointing! Why didn't they just tell us we won't get served before we got seated? We finally left on a hungry stomach and walked across the street to the casino to eat greasy, burnt slices of pizza in the food arcade. I will never eat at Macaroni Grill nor recommend to others.
