Spent a night there just recently while visiting the falls....

Pros:
- we got an excellent rate <$90 - but that didn't include tax and parking, etc. so check your bill
- good location, about a brisk 10-15 min walk to the falls
- near restaurants, right across from a TGIF..
-

Cons:
- when we talked to the front desk when making the reservation we were told parking was included but alas it wasn't
- front desk staff weren't very friendly - we tried to explain the parking charge but they only took it from one of our rooms
- no free coffee in the lobby like there is at all other courtyards
- coffee make in the room still had coffee grinds/filter from the previous guests
- only 2 elevators (that I could find) in the hotel so be prepared to wait in the lobby/floor for your ride

Overall, I'd go back but would look at other hotels first, I'm a loyal Marriott Member and next time will try to the Marriott before staying at the Courtyard.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor

Stayed at the Marriiott on a Saturday night. The hotel was sold out. Expected there to be crowds and a lot of noise. It was the opposite...I slept like a baby. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and the air conditioning just hummed no annoying fan noise and didn't hear the elevator. The staff was very accommodating. Check in was quick and easy. Mary at the info desk was very knowledgeable and all of her recommendations for restaurants and what to do were perfect. I would recommend this hotel any day. Only complaint didn't like the Sunday brunch at the Keg. It was busy and the line-ups were too long, however there are many places to go for breakfast and it's all just a walk away. Parked our car for the weekend and walked everywhere.

Room Tip: Stayed on 10th floor. Decent view, quiet and no one above you

We stayed at the Courtyard in Niagra Falls for two nights. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. The room was exceptional, large and spotlessly clean. We had a room with a jacuzzi which was very nice. The staff were very helpful. We had a problem with the safe and the maintenance guy came within 10 minutes. The concierge was very helpful with suggestions and directions. The bed was extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay there again the next tie we are in the area.

Disappointed in daily charge for parking and $4.50 for bottle of water in room. Stayed at Garden Inn in Syracuse with free bottled water, free parking, coffee and tea in lobby and afternoon cookies. Front desk really needs more staff to handle volume of travelers. It was constantly backed up and I felt regular staff were not as attentive to trainees as they should have been. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Housekeeping staff were very nice. We traveled with 3 other couples and all had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi.

Room Tip: Fireworks visible from one side of top floor.

A few bumps during our stay but nothing to be alarmed or disappointed. We encountered a change in our room when we checked in- we were put in a handicapped room which did not turn out too bad but we were "told" to move to another room the following day. Never enough towels (don't they ever read the reservations?) We did have smelly towels that were promptly replaced. The staff was cordial and for the most part accommodating. Would not recommend then breakfast buffet; $16.00 per person is way too high. Besides there are many choices within walking distance. The view of the falls is within walking distance but the incline can make the walk tiring. Wi-fi service is available but you have to separate account for all devices. Just a pain to activate
