Starting with the downside....the breakfast buffet is extremely crowded (weekend stay) and the pool is a little small. The rest was great. Although we had a ground floor room due to a last minute reservation, it was very spacious and clean. Beds were very confortable. Location is absolutley perfect. Within walking distance from everyting that is Niagara Falls yet far enough from the main street to enjoy a quiet sleep. Free parking was also great considering the fraffic and parking rates in the area. Having the casino right across the street was fun too. Would stay here again for sure. But as others mentioned, be aware of the name change. It's now the Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls even though the sign still says "Hampton Inn".

Stayed two night as part of a tour group. The hotel is very date and in need of a fresh look. Its location is great. Walking distance to all major attractions, close to the bus line, and a decent breakfast. You do not get hilton points sence they are Clifton Victoria Inn.The sign for Hampton is still there and I was told it would be change soon.I was also told the hotel has been sold to Fairfield Inn.Never used the pool but the kids that were staying there seem to enjoy it.Lots of parking, even for our bus.

We booked this hotel as part of a package which included a family 2 day pass to the Fallsview Indoor Water Park, free tickets to some attractions on Clifton Hill and dining discounts. This was an excellent deal for our family of 4. We have 5 year old twins. They have just changed the name to Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls. But they still havent changed the sign outside. Between the Sheraton, Skyline and this hotel, this one is the best deal for a family. This is the only one that offers free parking and free breakfast. That is a huge savings for a family. You can even park your car at the hotel after you check out until midnight that night. The waterpark is across the street and only is a 5 min walk. If you are visiting the waterpark in the winter I would pick the Sheraton or Skyline because you can access the waterpark through an indoor walkway. The free breakfast has a good selection. Kathy Anderson the kitchen manager was excellent! She was working hard to make sure the food was well stocked, area kept clean and even handed out coloring pages and crayons. The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna are a nice feature. The front staff were helpful and polite when answering our questions.
Overall this hotel is a great choice for families visiting Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and Clifton Hill!

OK, maybe that's a little harsh. It was our second stay there, after all (stays one year apart), and they did have some storm damage from the Friday night, which put some of the better rooms (mini-1BR suites) out of commission.
The hotel is dated. Very dated. Another review mentioned the 90's - more like the 80's - early! Our room was reasonably clean, but damp and we could not get the air conditioning to properly cool the room (apparently the controller was in the room next door, so if they didn't have it turned on, ours wouldn't go). We did note a significant deterioration in one year and won't be back unless there's a significant investment made.
On the plus side, the staff seems genuinely helpful and concerned, the buffet breakfast was reasonably good (with an effort to keep clean) and the value of the waterpark package is very, very good. Easy walking distance to the Waterpark, the Falls, Clifton Hill and one of the Casinos.

Room Tip: Families might like the small suites, which have a bedroom off the main room - nothing too large, bu...

We stayed one night with a hotel, fallsview waterpark deal. The room was great because it had beds in seperate rooms and both rooms had TV's. We stayed in Room 218, which at first I thought would be noisy, but was not. It overlooks the pool. We never even used the bath tub, or the pool because we had our fill of water from the park. Niagara is such a busy place that it was a good place to just rest our tired heads, It is a short walk to everything. Parking was free. Most impressive was the breakfast. There was fresh waffle station, fresh fruit salad, an assortment of breads (toast, bagels, muffins, english muffins, pastries) eggs, pancakes, OJ, coffee, yogurt, cereals with all the fixings. I thought the breakfast alone was worth the price. A good choice. It will be undergoing renovations soon. Get in before it gets mighty expensive.

My wife, five year old son and I stayed here for one night for a quick visit to Niagara Falls and Marineland. The front desk staff were both friendly and helpful, providing some handy tips for our visit to the falls as well as some nearby dining options. Don’t hesitate to ask them for help. The hotel provides free parking, free wifi and a free breakfast with your stay. With all this provided at good rates, it is no surprise that the hotel is so highly ranked on Tripadvisor.

The location is pretty good. The Fallsview water park is right across from the hotel. Clifton Street is just a couple blocks away, where you will find lots of dining options, the cheesy touristy activities and the entrance to the Maid of the Mist (just walk straight down the street to reach the entrance). You are not next to the falls themselves but they are only a short, pleasant walk away.

One general tip for the area that I would like to provide you is to keep a watch on your cell phone to see if you suddenly find yourself roaming. With the US right across the river, you might find yourself connecting to another carrier where roaming rates could/would apply.

When I started planning a family trip to Niagara, one thing that I wanted was a decent, clean hotel, and a continental breakfast. I also found out that many hotels in Canada want you to pay a parking fee...I wanted free parking. I found this Hampton Inn. I thought it was a decent price too..125.00 per night during peak time in June. When I am on vacation I want to eat early and get going. I found this hotel on Trip Advisor. I booked it. I was extremely happy with it. First of all after you go over the Rainbow Bridge and through customs the hotel is right up the hill from there. It is not right on the falls but I liked the location because it was down the street from Clifton Hill and after a day of site seeing, my son loved the short walk to Clifton Hill to play games, mini golf, or his favorite stop on Clifton Hill, The Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum (ya 9 year old boys love it!) We love to walk and the falls were only a 8-10 min walk from this hotel. One day I really wanted to go to a Lake Eerie Beach. I asked the staff at the front desk and they were so helpful. They pulled up things on the computer and were so willing to print out maps, directions, ect....They were truly hospitable. It is truly a family place with a pool, and kids. If you love a good price, great hospitality, great location, and a continental breakfast starting early so you can get going...this is the place for you. I would definitely stay here again.
