Best part of staying here was parking the car in the hotel's (free) lot when we arrived, and never moving it till we left 2 days later. The hotel is within easy walking distance to all Niagara Falls attractions, including the beautiful overlook areas along Niagara Parkway. There is also a stop for the WeGo bus line just feet from the Hampton's front door.
Our room was spacious and clean. A problem with the blow dryer in our bathroom was fixed quickly. Breakfast was basic, but adequate.
The pool and hot tub were welcome after long days of walking and touring. Located in the lobby right next to the breakfast area, the pool does impart a chlorine smell to the whole area. Not very appetizing at breakfast time, but not totally overpowering, either. If you are very sensitive to chlorine or smells of any kind, think twice about this hotel.
Since it is an atrium-style hotel, all rooms overlook the pool/lobby area. This can be a little noisy at night, as the pool is open till 10 and the hotel attracts families with kids.
Staff was friendly and helpful, providing a list of restaurants that deliver when we were too tired to go out for a bite.
We would definitely stay here again.More
