Stayed overnight for my first trip to Niagara Falls (Canadian side). The room (19th floor) had a beautiful view of the falls for both the US and Canadian sides. The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and provide fridge/micro/coffee.

I know location location location dictates pricing. With that said, it isn't a cheap place to stay. I was able to use a Groupon which supposedly gave us a discount on the room (don't know how much) but also included 48 hour free bus pass, two free wine tasting tickets (need your own transportation) $20 off the buffet, $40 off the restaurant, $40 for the spa, & $25 for the casino. Our room came to about $200 + $20 to park in the garage. The buffet was $69 each (before the discount). It was a good buffet with attentive wait staff. So although I thought it was a bit pricey, I enjoyed our stay. Everything around the hotel was expensive so again, location, location, location!

Room Tip: We were in 1970 (which was a nice view) but my brother-in-law and wife were in 1972 which was an even better view of both falls!

This location was fabulous! 11th floor facing the falls was a great experience. Fireplace in the room, two queen beds, sleeper couch, free bottled water in the room and tremendous service. Michael at the front desk was so helpful and friendly! Spent three days and two nights. Loved the water park, just the right size for the kids to have a tremendous time 7 & 9 years old. The restaurant in the hotel has a unbelievable view of the falls and the service is top shelf. The omelet's are hand made to your selections while you watch, outstanding! Dinner is one of the best buffet style complement of a large variety of foods, cuisine and desserts! Don't miss this location for a perfect view of the falls and outstanding service!!! Part of this location is the convenience to the falls, transportation, and the attached buildings, casino, waterpark, arcade, fast food locations for a quick bit. OUTSTANDING!!! Keep up the good work Sheraton on the Falls! We will return to your location. Note: Don't miss out on a small town with wonderful small home town feel shops in the Niagara Lake area! We enjoyed the afternoon at the shops getting little gifts, tasting home made ice creams, desserts and dropping back in time to a place with a little slower pace and relaxing environment with unique gift shops!!!

Room Tip: Please get a room facing the falls, there is an upcharge but well worth it!

As my boyfriend & I made reservations, we booked a room for a 1 King & view of American & Canadian Falls. As we checked in, we were told that we were getting a room with 2 queen beds & the American & Canadian falls view. We explained that, that was not the room that we booked & we were told they could not do anything about it & they gave away the room we originally booked to somebody else. We got up to our room which was actually nice and very clean. We were able to use the coffee maker, but it did not have filters so it was pointless to have. We went with self-parking ($20/night) but the key card we had to use to get into the parking lot did not work. & a parking pass was to be given to us upon checking in, was not given to us. & as apart of the booking fee, we were able to have free wifi for the time of our stay. But our wifi would not work and we had to call front checkout to get them to activate our room for the free wifi. Other than the few things that had happen, I would go to this hotel again aslong as we check in with the room we were told we would have in the first place. It is also extremely close to the falls & Niagara strip.

Room Tip: American & Canadian falls view is amazing! There is a doorknob hang to put on the outside of your door to decline room cleaning, if you do so, you get a free $5 voucher to the in-lobby Starbucks for conserving their cleaning resources.

Reason for our stay was celebrating our 18yr wedding anniversary.. Was very disappointed in our stay from Sat Nov 9th and check out Nov 11th 2013.

Upon booking under special requests, I stated: "We are celebrating our 18yr wedding anniversary, pls place at highest floor possible, away from elevators and away from large groups." Not one request was fulfilled...

The positives:
The view was awesome from the 6th floor. The room was spacious and very very clean.

The negatives:
Unbeknowst to my husband and I, there was a "Highschool Convention" that weekend. A thousand teenagers in the hotel. You can imagine the students running up and down the hallways and yelling and breaking out into euglogies of songs, singing and laughing at the top of their lungs....and slamming doors every few seconds, that lasted allll weekend long. To make it worse, they also were screaming outside at the front of the hotel by the garden.. We can hear them from our room as well. They probably had friends above our rooms, as they were all waving and shouting conversations from the garden to the room above this... How do I know this?? The balcony door above us, would shut loudly with a bang everytime they were done their shouting match...

Sunday night I couldnt stand the noise level anymore so I called the front desk for them to control the noise level... It was 11:30pm. We had about 30 minutes of calm, before the storm.. Eventually, we left the tv on, so we can somewhat drown the noise out.

Fallsview Restaurant for breakfast:
Was horrid. Dry bacon, dry sausages, bland omelette. High price. Basically you paid for the view...Go to iHop or even the Family Restuarant on Clifton Hill instead. Their breakfast was delicious....

Paid $500 for our anniversary mini getaway, horrifically sad stay...

The Hotel would of course have known the event before hand and should have placed us, somewhere less volume of the crowd.... PEOPLE next time you book, ask if there is an event happening at the hotel before you book, because the hotel isn't going to tell you!

Students are students, I blame the hotel for not being proactive and not caring about special requests.......... We'll go back to Embassy Suites as per usual.

Room Tip: Falls view for sure..

One the most important feature when you are searching for hotels in such place like Niagara Falls is the Falls view.
Despite the other criteria for your search having a great view during your stay is very crucial.
Here I'm not talking about anything else but Falls view.
I put only the photo of Falls view from the that I have been there in 9th Floor.
Specially the view of sunrise is stunning.
