The breakfast was more than expected with hot waffles, sausages, scrambled eggs, potato wedges and assortment of cold items. Room had microwave and fridge. The lobby and breakfast area have been renovated and look great. We had a family suite and it was awful. One of the lamps had no switch so you had to unscrew the bulb to turn it off. Rooms were very dim. Heating was either on or off, no automatic shut-off to control temperature, and there was only one heater for both rooms. Stain down side of box spring. One cupboard door hanging by a hinge in the kitchenette. Ants were crawling all over the kitchenette counter. One outlet had a prong protruding where it had broken off the plug. The bathtub was dirty. No face cloths or hand towels provided. No plug for the kitchenette sink and no dishes, cutlery or dish soap to clean up with. We booked for three nights - we stayed one. They are in the slow process of renovating the entire building.

Room Tip: I would suggest that you insist on one of the renovated rooms before booking.

Room - it is ok, just do not mind the decor. The sink is leaking. The door lock does not seem to be very secured, no chain. Hotel - the outside and its surrounding needs a facelift. Breakfast - better than any other hotels would offer. Rate - would be better if booked at the same day. I just checked now and the rate is much cheaper for the same suite we are staying for tonight than what I already paid. Overall - very good for a very short stay.

My girlfriend and I stayed here as we just needed a cheap night away from the kids. Don't expect to much but for the money you can't beat it. Indoor pool and a good breakfast. I doubt I would stay here for a week or anything but a weekend away on a budget, this place does work.

We got a family suite for 3 nights for $225. Clearly the price was the main reason we went there but again you get what you paid for. One room was laminated and was good but the other one was carpeted and was disgusting. I was afraid of stepping in there. The whole place is really dirty.. surprisingly the breakfast is OK. you wonder how they make any money. However again every is the bare minimum. We ended up checking out one night earlier as I was afraid for my baby to catch some disease from that carpet which probably has not seen vacuum since the time hotel was built.. If you can't afford a little bit more then I guess nothing you can do. However I bet by doing a little bit of research on available deals you could get better for same money. Kids enjoyed the pool but at end my daughter was having itchy eyes, I suspect from the pools ‘water with too much chlorine as it does not seem to get changed. Staffs are very friendly though. First and last stay there.
Couple with young kids from Toronto

Room Tip: Ask for laminated room

Got into Niagara Falls late and thought this might be a good bargain. It wasn't. The room door didn't fit properly in the frame and cold air blew in all night. The room heater didn't have a thermostat so it would get too hot in the room and then you would have to wake up to shut it off. Then the cold air would come back in and an hour later you would have to get up and turn on the heater. The shower also ran hot and cold. For $40 I didn't even complain to the staff. The breakfast wasn't too bad though. If the renos in the lobby had been done in the rooms, it would be spectacular.

The price is right if you are not looking for anything special other than a place to lay your head. The walls are very thin and you hear your neigbours talking, using the microwave, shower etc. The rooms have stains on the floor, walls, bed sheets. Don't drop anything in the bathroom or if you do throw it out immediately! The toilet seat was not attached properly, the lights didn't work. If you want cheap, stay here, if you want luxury find another hotel!
