We stayed in a City View room for several nights, and then a Falls View room for a few more nights. Excellent view of the falls and fireworks from our 31st floor room. The rooms were clean and in excellent shape. I agree with AAA's four star recommendation. We also ate in the hotel several times and the food was very good. My only minor complaint was service was somewhat slow.

This trip started out a NIGHTMARE but ended up somewhat alright. For one we were not told when we reserved that they're two Sheraton hotels, both with views of the falls, we booked the one by the Casino. They gave us directions to the WRONG hotel when I reserved. We went to the wrong one (this one) first and were told we needed the one by the Casino. They gave us vague directions , and we drove around at least 10 minutes trying to find the other one. Ohh and the other thing they told us didn't help us either, they told us it was at the Casino Niagara, and yes, you guessed it, there are TWO of those too, both with the same name, and both have hotel rooms!! So when we finally got to the one we wanted and were booked at, they told us we were not booked there!!! So angerly we returned to Sheraton Fallsview and explained our situation. They were quite applogitic and told us this happens ALL THE TIME!!! People book at the Sheraton On the Falls, and the people who work at Sheraton on the Falls tell them they do not have a reservation and they send them over to this (Sheraton Fallsview) hotel, and the poor customers just go 'round and 'round back and forth because these two hotels screwed up there reservations and no one wants to admit they dropped the ball!!!
Well anyways we canceled our room at the Sheraton on the Falls and stayed at this one at a Very reduced rated because they messed up our reservation , and we got a free breakfast at their beautiful dining room too. It was an alright room, reminded me of the luxury jaquzzi room at Holiday Inn Express, and it had a GREAT view. So other then the fact these Hotels need to get their bookings straightend up, it was a pretty good vacation.

We thought we had booked Sheraton "On the Falls,' but ended up in fallsview instead. It was awful. The staff were incredibly rude (even though they mentioned the 'Sheraton Promise' constantly). We had booked on the 23rd floor, but were put on the 4th floor, and could barely see anything because of trees and dirt on the window. The restaurants were terrible and the room was pretty dirty. We stayed there one night because they refused to let us check out. The next day, we moved to the more centrally located and much friendlier (even much cheaper!) Sheraton On The Falls and had a wonderful conclusion to our vacation.

My wife and I stayed at the Fallsview 7/29-8/1-2004, as an anniversary trip. We opted for the "Never leave your room" package that the hotel advertised, which included 2 private in the room massages and candelite dinner. I opted for an Executive Fallsview Spa suite and was extremely pleased with the choice. We got a 28th floor room on the end of the building, which gave extra space to the fireplace appointed sitting room. The views were spectacular. Bath with double jacuzzi, and glass shower, large and enjoyable. The room-service was good but the food after 28 floor elevator ride was lukewarm, and not notable. But who cares, this was Niagara Falls! You can eat downstairs, although we didn't eat in the hotel. There are alot of national/local restaurants close by. Service was very good, not great, but rooms were terrific. Would go back in a second.

I am glad to hear that the beds have improved at this hotel. We stayed there in May of 2002, and while the hotel was lovely in all respects and the view of the falls unsurpassed, the beds were abominable. The cheap, flat mattresses were so hard my husband and I woke up with aching backs and kinked necks. We asked the hotel management for a different mattress, and were told all the mattresses in the hotel were just like ours. When pressed, they supplied us with a couple of old, crumbling foam mattress pads which did little to cushion the concrete mattresses.

We ended up going to Wal-Mart and buying an air mattress and a small electric air pump, and we placed the inflated air mattress on top of the bed to make it comfortable enough to sleep on. When made up, the bed was then so high we had to jump to get up on it. We had a lot of laughs about that during the trip and afterwards, but we vowed never to stay in another Sheraton anywhere.

If the new mattresses are as nice as these reviews indicate, we might well give them another chance. The views were hypnotic. We sat by the window every waking minute we were in the room, just watching the falls. I would love to experience that again.

In July 2004, we rented a Premium Loft Suite for a romantic get away called "Never Leave Your Room". Unfortunately the Fallsview rented the room next to our for a Wedding Reception so loud we could not have a conversation in our room. When we complained about the noise the duty manager told us the hotel has every right to do this. Thanks but at better than $500/night I'd rather find a room I can sleep in.
