“Fallsview Rooms have some of the best views in the area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Did a Conference here and was pleased to see some upgrades from the old Sheraton days. If you get a Falls-view room this location has one of the best Canadian Falls views to be seen. from the top floor suites with the floor to ceiling windows its amazing. Rooms nice/clean. Lobby nice with a Starbucks ( No your Starbucks card won't work here ) . Staff servicing the meeting we attentive and made it a smooth event with good buffet style food offerings. Lots of parking beside the hotel and free, for this event anyway.

PS...nice photo opportunity across the street for a falls and up river back drop

Room Tip: Almost pointless to stay here unless you get a Falls-view Room and higher floors the better. City-v...

We booked this hotel through otel.com and found it to be reasonable compared to other hotels nearby. Easy check in, rooms are nice and comfortable.Fitness center is open 24 hrs and buffet breakfast was excellent.

The location of this hotel is excellent and that is what you are paying for. No personal service, no extras just a well appointed room in a prime location. If you have children and need to be by the attractions at Clifton Hill I would not recommend this location, but if you want a beautiful view of the falls this is a good choice.

We he were on the 26th floor overlooking the Canadian and American falls. It was spectacular. The hotel was excellent. The staff courteous, friendly and helpful. The location made it easy to see and go as we wanted. I would highly rcommend it and felt it was worth every penny.

I had never been to Niagara Falls, for the last few years it seems it is something I have been wanting to do, I started to check out hotels, there were some for less $$ But then I thought I have never been & who knows if I will ever be again (fyi I would go again) so I want that View.
I was on a high floor I never closed the curtains, every morning I woke up to the Sunrise over the falls, So nice, every night I saw the falls lit up & of course if I happen to be in the room in the day time Oh what a view.
As for the rest of the hotel all was nice, But for the money I would have thought the rooms should have been more updated & EXCUSE ME Mr Hotel man, REALLY do you need to charge me to park ? & Did you need to Charge me for wifi, Well people note: Wifi in the lobby is free & Guess what you can pick that up just fine in your room.
Also I wish breakfast was included, which is was not, But they do have two kinds to choose from, continental or the hot, the continental of course costing less was just fine & 3 out of 4 mornings I had it & sat by a window with a falls view.
Location is good too.

This hotel is excellent for its location on the Canadian side of the Falls. Very clean! It is worth spending the extra money for a falls view from your hotel room. Quite spectacular! The staff at the hotel are friendly and do go out of their way to assist you with any problems, questions about the area, etc. The buffet breakfasts are good. Easy walk to the tram that takes you to Goat Island for close up views of the Falls and We Go Bus service around the area.Only complaints were how uneven service and food quality can be at Milestones Grill for dinner. On a Monday night in Oct., it was a 5 star event with superb service and excellent food. On the following night, we decided to eat there again since we were tired and would be leaving the next day. The food was not up to Marriott standards - overcooked and oily tasting fries that seem to have sat around for awhile; and a rib eye steak that just didn't measure up to the prior night's offering of same. Would give it only 2 stars. Service seemed to take forever - waiting up to 15 minutes until the a waitress finally showed up to greet us after we were seated. (We had to ask someone to fetch her.) This type of service continued throughout the meal in that we had to ask others to find her. We did understand that a conference was in play with a dinner serving hundreds that night, but that should not have impacted individual service in a relatively empty restaurant for that evening. Would recommend using other restaurants around the hotel for dinner as well. Many good places to choose from - but overall great hotel!

Room Tip: Spend the extra money for the Falls view. Worth it!

I was VERY pleased with this hotel, the staff, the location. My room was city side, but there are windows when you exit the elevators that give a spectacular view of the Horseshoe Falls. There's also an observations deck on the 3rd floor.

This Marriott is directly across the street for the other Marriott. They are at the end of Fallsview Street. If you want to be near all the noise and old Vegas style entertainment (haunted house, Ripley's Believe It Or Not etc), it will take 20-30 minutes of leisure walking or a quick bus ride.

There seemed to be a limited number of entry points to the falls. I'd walk from one end of Fallsview to the other and head down toward the Falls. Later I found that the Incline Railway was a block or two from my hotel but couldn't be seen from Fallsview Street/Avenue. If you're on Fallsview turn down Dunn or Main pass the Embassy Suites I think and you'll see the Incline. That will take you to the Niagara Visitor Center near the Horseshoe Falls end.

I parked at the Fallsview Casino to save a few buck on parking. You pay each time you leave the lot. I didn't leave between Thursday and Saturday so I only paid once ($10 or so).
