“WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2010

This was one of the best stays that I have had at ANY hotel! The rooms are very reasonably priced. The packages that are offered are simply amazing! Our final bill was around $80 and this included a $45 dining voucher for dinner! We stayed in a room that had a whirlpool and a king bed. The room was beautiful!! It looked like everything was brand new in the room. The room was very clean.

The hotel was located in the middle of everything. We only had to walk about 10 minutes to get anywhere that we needed to go. They also have a shuttle that goes to the casinos and falls! It wasn't always on time, but can't complain about that! Its free, and very convienent!!

There is an ihop in the hotel as well. The prices are a bit high, but the food and service is good.

The best part about our stay at this hotel was the unbelievable staff. They went above and beyond. Extreamely friendly and thoughtful to every guest I seen them interacting with. They explained everything that we needed to know, and answered every question that we had, with a smile on their face. Thank you to the staff at the Ramada Hotel for making our trip to Niagara Falls the best we have ever had!! WE WILL DEFINATELY BE RETURNING AND RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!

We chose this place because of a great deal that they had. It included free shuttle service ans $40 dinner voucher. The place is located near many attractions, and the shuttle took us where we needed to go. The service was excellent! The staff was very helpful when had questions about certain attractions or where certain store were that we wanted to go to. The room was very clean. Price was right for us because it was a special deal that we had received.

First let me say that ALL the staff were very hospitable. My room was comfortable and clean.Location is pretty central to some key Niagara sites.About a 10 min walk to the Fallsview Casino and a 15-20 min walk to Clifton Hill and Lundys Lane areas.A very nice International House Of Pancakes Restaurant is located inside and was also very good.

Larger than average 2 double room with large jacuzzi bath (in the room not in the bathroom).

Good value for money although we weren't travelling peak time. A little way from the falls but there is a shuttle service.

We booked with the Ramada on their website for an overnight package with a dinner voucher. The hotel was in a good location, and was very clean. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable, internet access was good. The shuttle service form the hotel to the area attractions was great. The parking was steep at $15, especially with the fact that the hotel had its own private lot. Also breakfast at the IHOP downstairs was crazy expensive. There are much cheaper and better eating options nearby.

The hotel is good value, clean rooms and helfpul staff. The location is close to attrations. The only think I did not like is the swimming pool on the ground floor, on a glass area, just close to the reception. So when you're in there, there are dozens of people looking at you - both those at the lobby and those passing by in the street. It makes you feel you're in the dolphinarium, being that you're the show -dolphin. But that's the only con. For all the rest, the hotel can be recommended if you're not up to spending too much money in accomodation in Niagara Falls. (By the way, avoid the restaurant)

We had a nine day stay at the Ramada and after reading comments we were very worried. We stayed on the 8th floor, overlooking the Skylon Tower with the plume of spray from Niagara behind it. The welcome was adequate (but no mention of curtesy bus). Yes there is a parking fee, but at least the cars are by the hotel and not in a $5 per day lot somewhere out of sight.. The restaurant is not a Ramada restaurant but a franchaise, again adequate I guess but we did not use it. There is a pool and people did use it but not very large. The staff were quite helpful and our room was cleaned extremely well every day with clean towels, coffee etc. Three lifts, no noise from neighbours. (Although we did a fire alarm the first night and one lift was out for the rest of our stay).

Where I disagree with alot of reviewers is the fact that they can't use their legs. The falls is only a short walk, 15 - 30 minutes with an uphill on the way back, big deal. At least walking you see all the 'attractions' close up by the Casino area or around Clifton if you chose that way to walk. Sometimes walking is a plus you big jessies!!!! I can only write about our visit but we found it just right for the the deal we got on a nine day break. It's a good base for the Falls, Niagara on the Lake, local shopping, restaurants, gas stations, routes in and out of Niagara and not situated in a noisy environment. But if you want somewhere with a touch of luxury, valet parking and minions fauning to your every whim, then start looking elsewhere. Oh yes, the Bravo restaurant round the corner by the lights is a pretty good bet for Italian. Valu Mart sells good bread and criossants and salami, cheese from Cheese Secrets in N on the L, and a bottle of Onterio's own Pinot Gris or Reisling gives a pretty good breakfast/ evening meal in the room.
