Great little hotel! Stayed here on good friday and really enjoyed our visit. We came across this hotel in wag jag and decided it was a great deal.
We walked into the hotel and it was a very pleasant surprise. Its a gorgeous old building. The front desk staff was pleasent and accommodating. We got two rooms and the were adjoining which was super convenient for us. The rooms were very clean and adorable. With lots of old world charm. Breakfast the next morning was so yummy and NOT your typical hotel breakfast which I loved. (No fruitloops here) it felt like we were in niagara on the lake as opposed to niagara falls. Only one thing I could say negatively. Is the thin walls.. such a shame. I hope there is something that can be done to fix that. Since we didn't get a very good sleep because of the noise in the hallways and slamming doors. If that issue could be resolved I would stay here often!
Great staff, great food. Awesome location.

Arrived at hotel, no problems checking in. We went through a maze of doors and corridors to eventually find the elevator to get to our floor which was equally as confusing. Ice machine was broken on our floor. The only ice machine was on the first floor with a tiny little scoop. Opened our room, to find it was already occupied. So, back down the rabbit hole to the front desk and were given another room. When we got to the room, it did not have the fridge I requested but they had someone bring one to our room shortly after calling. The ice bucket had an old bag full of water and one shabby throw pillow on the bed (lol honestly what is this?) so, moving on, the walls were paper thin, the tub didn't drain, like standing in a puddle as you shower. The views from the room definitely left a lot to be desired. The hotel was under renovations (pool closed) and had open doors to rooms being used as storage everywhere (ruined the atmosphere I guess) the rooms were barely stocked.. As in 2 cups and a ice bucket, no coffee or anything. The room wasn't horrible itself, but the services provided were minimal. They advertised free parking with stay on their website but still tried to charge us, telling us the website needed to be updated (Not my problem). The wifi didn't work either! Basically everything they advertise they have to offer, they don't deliver on. The main lobby was nice and tastefully decorated, unfortunately it stopped there. All in all disappointing, but for price meh

we had a 20 inch old tube TV set with a snowy picture. The bathroom mirror was hung by a single hook and always fell sideways. The tub caulking was sloppy. the shower was an insert plastic not tile.the walls are so thin that we could hear the conversation from the rooms on either side of us. The mattress was old and worn. The sheets were second rate. The parking lot is ugly and in a terrible sate of disrepair. And they charge like a 5 star. There is no art on the walls accept very tiny, one tiny piece in the room and one smaller piece in the bathroom and not very nice. had to drag luggage up 2 steps from the lobby. The place is dark and ugly and needs renovation. I left their feeling disappointed in the owners of the hotel and in expedia for allowing this three star rating. 2 at best maybe a 1...

Booked their groupon deal directly through the hotel. $99 per night and booked two nights. Asked over and over again on the phone if there were any other charges to be added to this total. Was told over and over again that 99 plus tax was everything. Upon arrival the woman at the front desk tried to charge $600 to my credit card without presenting me a bill, pricing package or any information about the stay. That, and the fact that the parking lot was completely empty on a very busy weekend in Niagara falls rang alarms in my head. After asking how much the stay was going to be for the two nights the woman at the desk did the calculations and said it would be 398 plus tax for the two nights. Far from the 99 plus tax quoted. Hotel was under construction, restaurant was closed, and complimentary fruit water in the lobby looked like it had started to rot into juice. We never even made it to the rooms and I would highly recommend that not booking or staying here. Much better hotels around offering great packages and operating like an actual business.

Room Tip: When you pull into the parking lot make a U turn, exit the parking lot, make a quick right, then a l...

Booked this on Expedia. Upon check in asked to pay $12.99 parking fee. Site advertises free parking but we were told because Expedia charges less for the room there is a parking fee. I was told because of the area in Niagara Falls everyone must pay for parking. We had booked Deluxe queen room and were given a standard double. Told hotel was fully booked. In our room there was no garbage can, no remote, no coffe maker as advertised and the phone did not work. The two women on the front desk were very unfriendly and didn't seem to care about our problems. The last straw in this room was that it was on the first floor by the front door and there was only a sheer curtain covering half of the sliding glass door. Everyone entering could see directly into the room.
We were then moved to another room when I calmy told these women that in would not be staying in this room.
Surprisingly we were move to the deluxe queen room. Still no coffee maker, and no remote for the fireplace as told they had not been expected. The wifi kept quitting and the heat was either cook or freeze.
My 14 year old daughter went to the vending machine and was locked out of the connecting corridor to the stairway to get back to our room. Had to exit the building which took her into the back parking lot. She was in her pajamas and had to walk around in the dark to get back in main lobby. Upon entry received dirty looks from 2 women on front desk. She was quite frightened when she got back to the room. Avoid this nightmarish hotel. Bad experience. Deceptive advertising. New owners have just taken over.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your concerns during your most recent visit to the Old Stone Inn Boutique hotel. At the Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel we strive to provide superior guest service and it is always a great concern when this is not achieved. Please be rest assured that we do our best to monitor third party websites to ensure that communications via those booking channels are correct and accurate. On the Expedia website it does indicate under parking - outdoor parking surcharge. I was astonish to learn that your daughter could not get back to your room as the corridor doors do not have locks on them, we have addressed this concern with maintenance to ensure ease of entry and exit. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. At the Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel we offer Starbucks coffee service off our lobby level for our guests consumption.
Once again, my sincere apologies for the unfortunate incidents that took place during your most recent visit. It was be our pleasure to have you re visit the hotel to provide us an opportunity to redeem ourselves.

If you like the old century charm, then you will love this hotel/inn. New owners took over in Jan. and are in the midst of some renovations, but this did not hinder our stay, except that the bar area wasnt open yet :) The new owner, Lisa and her staff all are very nice and friendly. We stayed in a king suite this past weekend and it was a spacious room, clean and comfortable. We were close to Fallsview casino, about a 7 min walk. Or 15 min walk to Clifton Hill. We had breakfast in the tea room which was beautifully decorated. Eggs benedict and i think it was the Farmers breakfast were ordered and both were really good.
Take note that there is a $4.99 hotel service fee which I believed covered wifi, coffee, lemon water etc. $13.99 for parking. We did arrive much earlier than check in time and they did have our room ready so we were able to get settled and park for the day.

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor at the far end by the stair well but we had no noise issues at all
