“view very good but......”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2014

We booked a suite but felt the view would have been just as good from a room. The bedroom was in the middle and when sat on the bed we had no view, the view was only from the lounge part of the suite not the jacuzzi. So we felt the suite really was a waste of money.
When we checked in we were given some money off vouchers but as we were only there 1 night none of them were any use sadly. The hotel had good views from the bar and starbucks which was nice to sit and look whilst resting after being out site seeing. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Bath towels were v small and rubbish behind the sofa (crisps & straw). The lift down to falls was very close but closed!!!!!!

Room Tip: would not waste money on a suite next time

We were passing through Toronto and chose Marriott Fallsview & Spa because of it's price and ranking on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! We had a couples package which gave us a jacuzzi room, free buffet breakfast and coupons for several activities nearby. This was all for $210AUD per night! We paid the same price for the Sheraton near LAX which had a view of a carpark and gave us gastro at their expensive hotel restaurant.
Very quick check-in and even quicker check-out!
Only con would be the price of parking. $30 offsite and $70 onsite. We found parking at the Fallsview Casino Resort on Fallsview Boulevard for only $5 which is just over a 5 minute walk.
Waitress at the breakfast buffet were very attentive and we left our luggage with the bell service while we took our Niagara Falls See-Sight Tour.

We got the most amazing room. It had a jacuzzi bath for two with windows to the bedroom & the view.
In front of the window two comfy chairs & a fireplace - you wind it up & it's on for 30 mins. Bed - usual Marriott - fantastic!
Restaurant - so dark! I had to ask the waitress to read some of the menu.
Food - average. All meats came with mash & asparagus.
All fish with rice & asparagus.
Really :( not much imagination here.
We had the slow cooked Canadian steak.
It was thick cut roast beef basically. Ok
Hard to see where the fat was to cut it off as so dark.
Over priced & boring.
Bottle of water was $10
Back to the room - sat in front of fire watching Niagara gals change colour. A lifetime experience. Loved the hotel but next time would eat somewhere else.

This hotel provides a superb view over the falls. Be sure to book a room on the 19th floor or above if you want the 'full falls view'. We did it and it was worth it. My wife's reaction when she walked into the room was "oh wow". That alone is worth the price, right guys?
The falls are lit up at night in various colors. Quiet a sight to see actually. And the room (we had at least) has a 'faux' fireplace. So the rooms can be nice.
About the hotel itself: This is a totally run-of-the-mill Marriott. Nothing special. The Spa treatments are sort of OK (according to my wife), but when I went looking for the 'Sauna' I was directed to a very sad little room in a really crappy basement swimming pool. If Niagara Falls is supposed to be a honeymoon destination, this part certainly isn't it.
The restaurant also has nice views, but is very overpriced. I would look for something else in the area.
So for all you honeymooners: enjoy your 19+ floor room, try to find a nice affordable restaurant in the area and avoid the rest of the hotel.

Room Tip: 19+ for a full falls view, recommended.

We used a Groupon and got a super deal here for us and the kids! It included spa and restaurant discounts which we didn't use, and breakfast buffet and wine sampling coupons which we did. The service, check-in, accommodations, locations were all first rate. The room was on the 10th floor and had a fabulous view of the falls, two queen beds and a full size pullout which allowed us to all sleep comfortably and sleep to the roar of Niagara. We skipped the valet parking and found some empty lots that weren't charging close by, but I imagine during high (summer) season this would be difficult.

Room Tip: 10th floor had a great view of the falls

We stayed on two separate occasions in October 2013. The first visit we stayed as we were picking up a person from Buffalo Airport, the 2nd we stayed so we could enjoy the Niagara on the Lake Wineries.

The views from our room both times was amazing, We got a good deal as we are Sheraton members. We received free wine tasting coupons, coupons for dinner, included breakfast, as well as free wine at the bar at the hotel.

Service was good. Jacuzzi bath was nice. Great stay at this hotel. We were there during low season so it was very easy to get around and do a lot of things.

The hotel and rooms need updated. When checking in rather than doing valet parking for 30 a night use casino parking lot. If you get a players card the parking is free. Starbucks in hotel wasn't able to use gift cards or app. Bed wasn't made when we checked into room. View of falls was nice, but this is not your typical marriott experience here.
