I always go to trip advisor to verify my choices for hotels. Marriott is at the top usually. We were not disappointed. We booked a superior falls view. Supposed to be above the 9th floor, two double beds and a fireplace. We were pleasantly surprised to be on the top floor #23 with the most amazing view of the falls. We also got a certificate for breakfast for two for both mornings of our stay. We had to pay for our daughter for breakfast at a discount. $15. I could not imagine staying anywhere else. Lawrence the manager on duty, was very helpful in finding us the perfect restaurant as well. Excellent choice, I would def recommend.

Room Tip: always ask for a high floor

This hotel has the best of everything for a family vacation. The accommodations are comfortable, the restaurant and food service is very good and you cannot beat the wonderful view of the Horseshoe Falls. There is a $30.00 per day fee for parking, over and above the room rate, but the views and service provided by the staff are exceptional. Kathy in the concierge was very helpful with suggestions on area attractions to see.

The room was amazing, we could have spent two nights watching the falls from it. Customer service on the other hand sucked, valet parking employee are rude, there is a lot of up selling. don't be fooled by their travel desk, they will triple charge you for any attraction , so look. For them yourself and by them for a lot less price

This hotel was perfect for anyone visiting the Falls. We were in room 625 and it felt as though we were right at the falls. The view was to die for. And the room... We had a fantastic jacuzzi and a shower, a very comfortable bed and a sizable room. The location is great and there are many restaurants to choose from. My only complaint was the parking I didn't mind so much paying $30 a day, but it was really annoying having to wait for your car every time you went out.

Room Tip: Low level rooms have a less panoramic view, but the mist clears and you can see the falls perfectly...

We booked a 'city view' room but I negotiated an upgrade to falls view upon arrival (in conjunction with a discount of the required parking fee), so I was overall happy with the hotel's willingness to work with me (and I'm not a big negotiator). We did not eat at the hotel other than Starbucks...but the bar looked swanky and had a nice atmosphere. The kids swam in the pool - - typical hotel pool, though maybe slightly better than most. I did not realize that the hotel is literally at the very end of the 'strip' so I got some complaints from my teens about having to walk (we didn't do a package tour so had no public transportation) but as a mother, I was fine with the walk. I would visit this hotel again despite the distance because in all honesty, who wants to spend more than 2 nights in such a touristy spot? In the future, I'd maybe prefer to stay in Niagara On The Lake for a more subdued atmosphere.

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit around NY after a wedding and had to see the falls. We took advantage of my mother in laws family rate that got us an incredible deal. At the hotel the valet staff was great and Mike the bellhop was awesome! Mike gave us a run down of all the things to do and was even chatted up again by passing guest, meaning incredible hospitality. At checkin we were able to upgrade the room to a bit more and switched rooms to the 17th floor room 25. One phrase describes this room, is this for real!? Looking out the window feels like your one step from falling in the falls. Absolutly breathtaking views all day and all night. The room was extremly well put together with a huge king size bed, massive jacuzzi, more of a hotub, with doors that open to the front of the room, shower and even a fireplace!

We ate at the hotel resturaunt for breakfast which was expensive, but good and it too had incredible views. The omlete bar was great and again outstanding staff all around.

The hotel also had convient access to the grounds and falls railway which if you didnt know yet must be taken to get down to the actual falls. Its either pay 5 bucks for a ride down and up or a 25 minute walk each way.

Other notes:

Maid of the mist is a must! Its pretty insane how close they get you, so prepair to be soaked a little if its crazy windy.

Getting into Canada was a breeze if you had a passport and other form of ID. Time to get into the country 5 mins, time to get back into the US, 2hrs! Not sure what the best time to head back but we left at 1pm and sat in traffic, only about a miles worth, for the whole time. Getting through the border, again, with proper ID was easy.

Room Tip: Higher the better on the falls side. We had room 1725 and it was ridiculously awesome! King with th...

I booked a room at the Marriott Falls View after doing some online research of the hotel with the best views, we were not disappointed. We had a room on the 14th floor, the view was spectacular! My wife spent a great deal of time sitting with a glass of wine next to the fireplace staring out the window at the falls. The room was very nice with a whirlpool tub, fireplace and king size bed. The service was top notch, with a special mention of Mike the bellman. He went out of his way to make our stay great. He gave us good ideas on where to grab dinner and drinks, as well of things to see around the falls area. The level of service he provided is one of the biggest reasons we will come back and stay here again.

Room Tip: The higher the rooms have a better view, we were on the 14th floor.
