The Marriot Fallsview Hotel was a wonderful choice for our recent family vacation to Niagara Falls. The family suite we booked overlooked the falls and was the perfect size for our family of 4( Two children 12 and 11 and two adults). The room had two double beds, and a large sitting area with a pull out sofa bed, chair and a tv. We loved the view, it was just amazing. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the service was top notch. We took advantage of the "Out and About" package though the hotel website that offers breakfast each morning for my husband and I. The kids buffet was only $5.00 a child and it was a great buffet. We could not believe it was so cheap. With the package we also received $40 voucher each night for dinner in the hotel restaurant, $40 credit each day for the spa and invitations to the hotels Wine tasting/reception each evening in the lounge. The hotel overlooks the falls. At night you can see the fireworks and lighting they use to illuminate the falls, That perk was totally worth the money spent for the room in my opinion. The hotel is with in walking distance of lots of restaurants, shopping and bars/pubs. You can walk to the falls and all they have to offer (Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Fury etc..) You can also walk to Clifton Hill, the really touristy section, with all the arcades, water park, shops, chain restaurants etc.. The area is safe and very clean. Our kids loved the area and we visited it a couple of times during our stay. I would definitely return to the Marriot Fallsview. We had a great time and I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a vacation to the Niagara Fall area. Happy Travels!

This hotel to me is the nicest hotel in the Niagara Falls area. It is towards one end of the falls so it is not very crowded.

The pros:
1. The view from our room was SPECTACULAR. We had a suite on the 9th floor and we were blown away by the room itself as well as the view outside.
2. The hotel offers guided bus tours of the Niagara area. Even though it is pricey, it is money well spent. We saw things in Niagara we have never seen before on a 6 hour tour all in the comfort of an air-conditioned bus, Moreover being part of the tour we get priority access to many of the attractions which was great so there was no need to wait on any lines.
3. The beds were extremely comfortable and the soundproof walls made sleeping a dream.
4. Valet parking costs $30

The cons:
1. Restaurant in hotel is extremely expensive.
2. Valet parking costs $30

If you are going to stay at this hotel, don't expect not to spend money. It is one of the more expensive experiences in Niagara Falls, but if you look past that I think you will be very happy if you make this choice

Room Tip: Do not stay below the 7th floor. There is a line of trees that will obstruct your view of the falls

We purchased a living social deal that provided us with a falls view room, restaurant, drink, casino and we-go bus transportation vouchers. This was a great deal. The hotel was lovely. We chose to eat at our hotel restaurant twice on our two day, one night stay because the food was good and we enjoyed dining with a view of the falls. The area was easy to explore and we had the best view of the falls lit up in the evening and during the day - right from our room or a quick walk across the street. We had a very clean and comfortable room that was also spacious. We were there on a romantic couples trip and it did not disappoint. I was already recommending it to my friends by phone before we even checked out. Speaking of - the automatic check out was very convenient. Would stay here again and recommend. Check Groupon, LivingSocial and Travelzoo for good deals.

Room Tip: Splurge for the falls view!

We stayed here for 3 nights 4 days for our honeymoon. We were in a Fallsview Room with whirlpool & fireplace on the 17th floor. OMG the view was amazing, it took our breath away. Starbucks in the Lobby - Yay, and right across the road from Tony Roma's restaurant (Best Ribs ever)... Now to the Negatives... Parking - Make sure you park at the Casino - $5.00 per day. DISGRACEFUL that the Marriott should charge $30 a day for parking. Internet is only free in the lobby, if you want it in your room it's $10 per day. When we went to check out their we're multiple STD calls and local calls charged to our room which we never made. When I questioned this the Manager became quite agitated accusing us of calling wrong numbers. Charges were removed but could of been a little less rude about it. All that being said, I would definitely stay here again.

We had a 2 night stay in a 6th floor room with a falls view. The room and hotel had a slightly older style feel to the general decor but was very clean and efficient. The room had a king bed, table +chairs, a sofa, and large dresser storage unit with TV on (also had a fridge). the main room was plenty big enough to walk around, not at all cramped. Between entrance door and main bedroom was a short "corridor" with a wardrobe, again plenty of hanging space. At the side of this section is the juccuzi bathroom, window walled to enable view across bedroom towards window (not really view to falls), with a roomy sink and mirror area, and then a door through to a shower and W.C. room.
The room was clean. Aircon was controllable, slightly noisy but did not affect sleeping. The bed was great, and for once the pillows were good firm quality. The hotel is positioned very close to the funicular to allow direct route down to falls, but this was being refurbed, hence we had a 15 min walk along the main street, down a long hill and back along to the falls area. We did not use the hotel restraunts or bar but preferred to use local restraunts. The real plus for us was the falls view. From within the bedroom you could see the horseshoe falls across the "u" width, and an open view along the river, unspoilt by buildings in the US. When standing or sitting in front of the window the view was panaramic across both falls and beyond. The room window did have a small slide section (bugg netted) to allow the sound in but this was not effective for me. There is also a 3rd floor outside area where you can sit and view the beauty. The hotel desk were friendly and helpfull. Be warned that there are 4 local and state tax's added to the hotel bill, hospitality tax's, which amount to some $35 a day. Not a hotel function but not great, as I was told after the fact by some locals that you can argue these tax's (or some of them) and have them removed, check it out.

Room Tip: I guess the higher you are the better the view, but from the 6th floor it was pretty damn good.
