“A Superb Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2011

My wife and I stayed here October 5-8, 2011, in Fallsview room 1806 (18th floor). Opening the blackout curtains upon entering the room was an experience worth sharing hand-in-hand! Absolutely incredible. Staff were friendly and professional at every point we met them, with the lounge being particularly good. I've read some negative reviews from people who don't seem to get out much - expecting to get anything from the min-bar at cheap prices is unrealistic, and whether it's reasonable or not, good hotels do charge for Internet access, and at $10 per day the Marriott Fallsview is less expensive than most. The only fly in the ointment is parking - $25 per day, valet parking only. we discovered later that you can self-park at the casino 3 blocks away for $5 per day.

Room Tip: The higher the better, Fallsview is a must, not Riverview!

We stayed in tis hotel just for 1 night to celebrate a special Birthday and all I can say is that I wished we were staying there for longer. The rooms were fabulous and the views over the Horseshoe Falls, Canadian side were awesome. We dined in the hotel restaurant and were delighted with the meal and with the level of service. This is one hotel I would really like to go back to and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Views of the falls available from all rooms

Stayed at Fallsview on October 5th. Nothing but great things to say. On arrival we were upgraded to a falls view room --- they didn't ask us-they just did it!
Good location just above the falls and walking distance to the Casino. Also Good choices for restaurants in the area.
Booked thru travelzoo so we had a pkg which included winery tours, breakfast, and a $40 dinner credit. All of the value was exceeded by this hotel.
The hotel breakfast and dinner quality was A-1! If the head chef wants more money they should pay him or her!
Usually stay at a Hilton but this makes me question why I haven't been staying at a Marriott!
Definitely will go back.!

Just arrived back from a fantastic stay at Niagara Falls. We read all the reviews about this hotel and must say it didn't disappoint. The room was fabulous, overlooking the falls (8th Floor), lovely and clean, you could also choose the time for maid service which l thought was a nice touch as we had just spent 4 hectic days in New York so wanted to relax. Didn't use the hotel parking as advised, at $25 per night it was expensive, the Casino car park charged $5 - 3 miniute walk away????. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel which are all priced about the same. We did go to My Cousin Vinny's which had a bad review on this site, we found it to be excellent for both food and service.Apart from the room with the most amazing view, the Skylon Tower was just incredible,we had a meal in the revolving restaurant (early sitting), the views just took your breath away, again the food and service excellent. If you have time, go to Niagara on the Lake - it's lovely. Can't understand why the hotel still charges for use of wireless internet as its now free as standard on almost all large hotels and most bars / coffee shops - at $9.95 plus tax - go to Applebee's nearby.

Room Tip: Won't want to go less than the 6th floor as the trees may get in the way of the view.

The Marriott Fallsview has the best view of the falls I've ever experienced. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the big Jacuzzi tub. Their pillows are very tiny and we asked for more for our second night. Very inadequate.

They have chairs set up by the window so you can just sit and enjoy the view. The only negative about our suite was the noisy fireplace (and of course the pillow which was recoverable). The electric fireplace would have been a welcome warmth on a very chilly weekend but unfortunately it didn't throw off a lot of heat and was so noisy we just shut it off.

The included buffet breakfast was simple but good. This will definitely be the place we return to.

Room Tip: You likely want to be above the 10th floor for a good view of the falls. The view from the restauran...

After reading reviews on tripadvisor and stopping at Marriott hotels before i booked
three nights as a start to our adventure,i e-mailed the hotel a couple of days before
and explained it was for my wife's birthday and on arrival we had an upgraded room
on a higher floor. As we entered our room not only a lovely spacious and spotlessly
clean but the view to die for,it was awesome we could see both falls and up and down
river. We had a whirlpool bath with a view of the falls and it was great to lie in bed
and have that as a backdrop. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite,
we were stopping on a bed and breakfast rate the breakfast was well organised
and the food excellent anything you wanted with a chef cooking fresh omelets (6 at a time).
The only thing i would say is don't book sightseeing trip from hotel desk, they only
stop at each attraction for a short time and it is a bit pricey,if you go to visitor center
by falls you can get an all in pass there for a third of the price and do things at your leisure
but this i a fantastic hotel in a fantastic position this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: ask for a room on a high floor

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights so I could finely see Niagara Falls and the view from our hotel room did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a suite and the rooms were large, unfortunately the rooms really smelled of stale smoke and did not make for a pleasant stay, since my husband and I are very allergic to smoke. The lobby makes the hotel seem like a upper end hotel, but once you get to the rooms ,they are in bad need of updating. It was very close to the bridge that goes to the funicular then to the visitor center and the falls. This was a great plus since it was raining both days we were at the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby. Valet parking was $25 per night, but you could go in and out.
