“Great visit will return"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2011

I went to Niagara Falls, Ontario for 5 wonderful days August 30-September3,2011. We stayed at Marriott Fallsview and Spa in a Fallsview room which was a fabulous view of the falls on 14th floor.the house keeping staff wa excellent. The restuarant was a nice view during breakfast was sinply wonderful. The guy that did the omlets was so nice and friendly. We did two tours with "Magnificent Tours" both were excellent because of the tour guides "Toney" and " Mario" were not only profesional but knowledgeable and friendly. It was an awesome experience. The shuttle service at the hotel was very convienent making it easy to get around since we did not have a car. I will visit again but later during the year when it is a bit cooler. It was a little too HOT.

Stayed here for a night in August. We booked a Fallsview room. We were originally offered the 7th floor, and was offered an upgrade for a much higher floor for $30 which we refused. Luckily, a room opened for the 9th floor, which the staff said will afford more wonderful view of the falls. I wish I remembered what the room number was. When we entered the room, we opened the windows and the views were absolutely breathtaking!!! With a view like that, your room almost feels paid for! So ony book here if you can get a fallsview. I don't think it will be worth it if it wasn't.

The rooms itself was standard Marriott fare- meaning it was very clean with comfortable beds. The room was actually a very good size especially the bathrooms which was much larger than regular bathroom sizes. We got free wifi internet due to being Marriott rewards member but it wasn't working in the room! It was so frustrating. We have to go down the lobby to be able to use our smartphones. This was probably my only gripe about the hotel. Oh and that parking was $25.

The location, being that close to the falls was great. You can see the falls illuminated at night but at the comforts of your room. The hotel is connected to a walkway/bridge which allows you easy access to where the Falls Incline Railway is. It also near the casino. There are plenty of restaurants within the vicinity.

We stayed during a weekday and rates of the room were much cheaper than weekends.

Although we did not book a falls view room, we were upgraded on arrival. Courteous staff and excellent location. The view of the Horseshoe falls from the room was brethtaking. This was the most wonderful view that I have ever experienced from a hotel room! Although there was no onsite parking, the valet service was excellent and we called 10 min ahaed and the car was always there.

My fiance and I went to the Marriott Fallsview to celebrate our birthdays. We stayed in the Junior Presidential Suite. The staff was very friendly, efficient and informative through the entire duration of our stay. Our suite had an absolutely breathtaking view of the falls! We had fantastic meals in the restaurants. Be prepared ..... Niagara Falls is a very expensive city to visit. All hotels, restaurants, attractions have a premium on them. But well worth it. We had a great time and will most definitely return!!

On August 28th my husband, son (10), daughter (7) and sister checked in to the Marriott.
Right away we knew we picked the right hotel. We were met by Mike the bellhop who was very patient answering all our questions and gave us a brief history of the falls. Our room was on the 9th floor which gave us a decent view of the falls. I would have prefered higher, but was told we were upgraded in our family suite to one with a jacuzzi tub. The adults never tried it but the kids loved it. The rooms, lobby, dining room, pool and work out room were very clean. The women at the tour desk were lovely. They even suggested a wonderful restaurant away from the strip that will pick you up at your hotel and drop you back for free. Carpaccio's service and menu was fantastic and much less costly than the restaurants by the hotel. We took the 6 hour tour on Monday which was quite expensive but taught us a lot about Niagara and gave us extra tickets for tours to go on in our spare time. From this tour we learned about Niagara on the Lake and spent the next day walking around that town and having a picnic by the Lake. Also dipping our feet into Lake ontario. The breakfasts are so expensive on the strip. Do not
eat in IHOP. The Marriott had the best breakfast. Buffet, but it can hold you until dinner.

This hotel did not disappoint. We enjoyed the wonderful view of both the American and Canadian Niagra Falls. We highly recommend getting a room high up and on the fall side. We could even see the falls through the decorated glass in the bathroom. We suggest you also spluge on a room with a glass balcony.

We had a suite at the end of the hall, and the room was very spacious with a gorgeous view. Everyone who complains about not being on the right floor to see a view is not reserving the right kind of room. The hotel didn't nickle and dime us, as other reviews said. They treated us like we should be treated, as valued guests.

I would definitely stay here again.
