We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We found the staff welcoming and very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a court side room that was lovely. The pool area was fantastic with lots to do for the kids and adults. The pool area was shut down prompty at 10:00 PM, court area at 11:00 PM and it was quiet as a mouse for sleeping. We stayed in the tower of this hotel 2 years (minus children) and we also loved that room! We had a whirlpool room which was clean, large and very nice. The outside access doors of the hotel are locked and will open with room key. What a nice security feeling! This hotel is close to everything (you will need to drive). There is free parking (a rarity in Niagara Falls) and free wireless internet. This is definitely a hotel our family will visit again. We had a great stay!

If you don't mind being woken up at 8:00 a.m. by the housekeeping staff running a vacuum cleaner, then this is the place for you. When I booked our room, I asked about complimentary breakfast and was informed that it was one of the amenities-NOT TRUE! Also, the room we stayed in (Tower room) had no closet to hang our clothes, and no iron or ironing board. The bed seemed too small to be a queen size (maybe a double). Also, there was not a vent in the bathroom, so the mirror was steamed up each time someone used the shower. As for having "ample parking", it depends on what time you arrive-we had to park way on the other side of the hotel and walk to the front desk via a narrow, dark alley. When we were checking out, two of the front desk staff were arguing, so those of us in line were "entertained".
Overall, we were not impressed with this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone looking for rest and relaxation.

What a gem of a hotel! If you're economy minded and looking for a clean, well kept hotel, then I highly recommend the Cairn Croft. We only pai $99 per night and think this is a hidden gem of a hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and very accomodating to our needs. We have 7-year old twins and a 14 year old and everybody was happy. The pool area was great as well as the TWO hot tubs. They also have a great play area for the little ones and an arcade.

We reserved a standard room (two queen beds) through Expedia, and upon checking in, asked if there were any family suites. Unfortunately they were sold out, but the front desk did recommend a larger room that had two queen beds, and a bunk bed as well as a refrigerator. The room was quite a bit larger than their standard room and they upgraded us at no charge. It made a world of difference. What's also nice is that this room is in a seperate building from the actual hotel and very quiet.

The bar is very quaint and the bartenders are great to talk to, especially Jon. Weekdays are very quiet and laid-back, but watch out for the weekend, plenty of music and dancing.

Niagara Falls was only a five minute drive away and you can park all day at the Skylon Tower for only $5.00 or on the street. If you park on the street, it's a dollar an hour with a two hour maximum, but you can just change the ticket when your time is close to expire.

Dining choices were abundant. McDonald's is right next to the hotel and Wendy's is across the street. Just up the street is a place called the Flying Saucer diner and a breakfast of two eggs, potato's and toast can be had for only 99 cents! Add bacon for $2.99 and sausage for $3.99, still a bargain. The Cairn Croft also has a great breakfast special for only $4.99. Restaurants are abundant on Lundy's Lane, but the closer you get to the falls, the higher the prices.

Overall, I really can't say enough about this hotel. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Make sure to say "Hi" to Lucy, their parrot mascot in the front lobby.

This hotel has fantastic customer service for the price. This is a great, low cost alternative to the pricy hotels in view of The Falls and Clifton Hill. The indoor courtyard with pool and hot tubs is great for families.

I just got back from a 2 nights stay at the Best Western. I have stayed at several hotels over the years, ranging in price and value, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Front Desk was wonderful and very accomodating. While the room we stayed in looked like it needed updating, it was clean. And others we knew staying there had very nice rooms and looked very up to date.
We were there for a wedding I was in, and the reception was held in the hotel's "Oak Room". The kitchen staff was AMAZING!!! They had chicken fingers and fries ready within 5 minutes of seeing that the flower girl and ring bearer didn't like the dinner served. All staff members were polite and friendly, and the housekeeper we had was outstanding - so much so that i tracked her down upon departure to give her an extra tip. I felt like I should have given every employee I saw a tip.
They made our weekend fantastic. And I am planning a weekend in niagara with my family just so we can stay in such a wonderful place. Customer service is everything, and I'm overwhelmingly impressed - especially when I've stayed at 5 star hotels and their service was lacking and was made to feel like we were inconveincing them. Not at the Best Western. Outstanding!!!!

We never got a chance to use the pool, but it looked very inviting and clean! There is a little playground in the pool area - looked great for kids, and a mini arcade of sorts - I can't wait for my kids to check it out.

This hotel has the best value for the money. The indoor pool has a tropcial feel and is well kept. We love the packages that can be bought which include breakfast, movies, and dinner vouchers. (Check on-line for the best value). We were a bit worried about the noise level with our room being around the pool but the hotel staff are very clear and enforce the "no noise" policy after 11pm. (which we appreciated with a little one trying to sleep)

Our only complaint would be that special requests can be a little difficult for the staff to accomodate. It helps to speak with management.

We plan to go back in January with several friends and relatives.

Stayed there for a couple of days over March Break. We had a room right outside the pool, which was great for the kids. Pool itself was very crowded at times, maybe it was a function of it being March Break. Only other comment about the pool was that it seemed a bit cloudy by the middle of the afternoon.

Staff were fine, particularly the bartender in the courtyard area. Maybe the Keith's draft being on special at $2.15 swayed my judgement! Room was clean, but it definitely smelled a bit chlorine-y. Not surprising, really. Only issue was it was noisy in the courtyard (and hence in the rooms that border it) until almost 10pm. If you have young kids that need quiet to get to sleep, this could be a problem.

Didn't eat in the restaurant, so can't comment on that. There are lots of restaurants close by, although we did wait an hour for our food at Red Lobster.

If you want to stretch your legs, it is about a 25 minute walk to the Fallsview Casino. And it's downhill all the way. Take a cab on the way back to the hotel.
