Really didn't care for the sauce they used in the chicken parm dish and I very rarely complain about chicken parm!! Wouldn't go back!

Staying at the Hilton and going to Macroni Grill right on ground floor seemed like a good match for our dinner.- BUT just didn't make it !!! The menu is nothing like Macroni - many of the "favs" weren't there. Instead of getting one of the usual great pasta's, we both got steaks (even if over priced). Just passed on the wine to cover it. Got a Caesar salad - that was poor lettuce and light on the tasteless dressing. The steaks were ok - but they took a lot of time considering the place was not that busy. Disappointing lack of service and finding out that we had to ASK for bread and not discovering that until the steaks arrived. You get the picture - won't be going back and saying anything nice. You are now forewarned.

It was later in the evening, about 8 or 9. We didn't have to wait for a table.....they were moderately busy. our waitress was pleasant and competent. Food was delicious. We were tired from walking about the Falls all day and it was a great place to relax and unwind. Wonderful.

The penne vodka is always great, this time I asked for it with a little bit of kick and it was even better. Compliments to the chef for making that arrabiata. It was my friend's first visit to Macaroni Grill and he really enjoyed the Veal Parm sandwich. The service was okay, but the trend in this area seems to be for a lack of a greeter position or a lack of a greeter that cares about their job. It's a toss up. Otherwise, enjoy your meal - it's one of the prettier locations for this chain.
