Let me preface the review with stating that I don't mind paying high prices for good food. This did not happen at the Macaroni Grill. Atmosphere is nice, with large windows overlooking Fallsview Ave. I got the pepperoni pizza, for $14.95, which tasted like a grocery pizza microwaved. Crust was soft with no indication that it was cooked in an oven. My husband got the $24.95 veal parmesan. He said that he had never had veal that was so overcooked that it did not have any taste. Kids got the 10.95 kids meals. The macaroni consisted of penne noodles with a scoop of flavorless cheese sauce. Other child got spaghetti and meatball which he liked, but again, the meatball tasted gummy like it had been heated in a microwave.
Our server was great and the location was ideal since we were staying at the Hilton, but would never eat here again. Our bill was over $120 and that was without alcohol. You will be seated right away b/c I don't think that this restaurant receives many repeat patrons.
