Probably the nicest "in the city" park I've ever been to.
Bathrooms were very nice and clean.
Indoor pool was warm and clean.
My kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and playground.
Most sites have asphalt drive thru's.
We were there in early october, so it was real quiet.
Activities were planned for the weekend.
pool closed early during the week but was open till 10pm on the weekend.
Dog walking park on site.

The staff could not have cared less - while not outright rude, they were not polite, either. When we checked in, we were initially impressed with the look of the campground. It is layed out nicely and seems pretty clean. When I went to the washroom on our first night, the towel dispenser by the door and one of the soap dispensers were empty. They were never filled during our entire stay. While this may seem an inconsequential detail to most, it made me wonder what else the staff was not doing to maintain the washroom. The floor did not look like it was washed during our stay, as well. When we checked in, we were told the indoor pool would be open until 10 or 11. The next day, however, there was a post-it note covering the 10 with the number 6 written on it. No reason was given - the staff just decided to close the pool early on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were able to use the "heated" pool during the day on our second day. One of the hot tubs was closed but there were not a lot of people at the campsite so it did not get crowded. On our third day, we got to the pool before it closed and were able to swim and rinse off quickly before being hurried out by one of the staff. After we dried off, my daughter wanted to bounce on the air pillow. While the signs stated the playgrounds were open unitl 10, they were locked up at 6. Needless to say, she did not get to play on the playground or on the air pillow. I could understand all of these inconveniences if the staff were friendly and if we had paid a more appropriate rate. Since we had paid for our reservation (62 a night for a tent), we were stuck staying at the KOA. We will never go back to this KOA.

Room Tip: If you are staying at the KOA, travel in an RV. There was a light that stayed on all night long that...

It's a nice place, the reservation we had did not fit what I had requested on arrival. We knew we were coming in late after getting out of work and driving the 3 1/2 hours. The site they left for us did not have 50 amp as requested and the trees were to tight for us to fit the coach in. After touring the camp ground for something to fit in with the hook-ups we needed and wanted we settled in. This was our third time there and we will probably go back because it's what we are comfortable with knowning the area. Probably good for a family during the summer with the pools etc.

The KOA is an easy commute on the bus line (get a pass at the office) and nice to be away from the boardwalk-like atmosphere of lodging close to the falls. Although we camped mid-week in late September, there were still many kids around, so be aware of playground location when requestion a site. The facilities were clean and staff helpful.

Our biggest concern was the outdated hookups at our premium site that had a sewer connection 2 feet above the ground that was 25' from the electric and water connections. We travel light in our new 20' van and don't carry extra extensions for sewer, much less any device to support 25' length 2 feet higher than the ground. (Dumping uphill is always a challenge and not usually necessary.) Paying premium price, we did not expect to have to drive back and forth to dump at the site. Also, the site was not level, so we had to relevel after each dump. It would have been just as easy, and cheaper, to drive to the central dump and have a different site. Choose carefully if you can.

Room Tip: Ask about connections!

We stayed only 1 night in a tent, but it was a good experience. Nice place, good facillities, very clean bathrooms. We slept in the back side of the campgroung which is close to the train rails but it didn´t wake up us during the night.

Out of curiousity I read all these reviews. We stayed there for 7 days early August with our 4 and 5 year old and literally had the best week of our lives!! The staff is fabulous and seem very prideful in what they do. There seem to be a lot of famillies that stay the whole summer and were super friendly and all the kids played well together. So many fun scheduled activites for the kids. The pools were busy but everyone was respectful of eachother. Im not sure what this noise complaint people are talking about is. Not once were we asked to keep it down and we were 4 adults and 5 kids with 2 lodges side by side. We played our music very late and our kids were being themselves, laughing loudly, riding bikes, being kids. Not once were we asked to keep it down. There is nothing to complain about at this place its great for everyone. I did get a kick out of the review who seemed a little insulted there was no breakfast served at the camp area...Let me say that again...camp area...And the music from the patio bar? Its one night per week maybe 2 and its literally young 8yr old girls singing karaoke until about 830 at the latest...So as for us we will for sure be back...In fact I loved it so much I suggested to my husband we quit our jobs work there and just live in the cabin!!!!!!

Very clean...very quiet. 2 gorgeous outdoor pools and 1 indoor. Nice little bar w/ a snack bar. bathrooms were nice and clean...There was a shuttle bus you could catch that cost $10 p.p. for a 24 hour time period. It would take you to the Falls and other places. You could ride it over and over w/in the 24 hour time frame. Staff was very helpful with information.Overall an\ very nice place to stay
